As an important supporter of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce activities, including the Person of the Year Awards Gala Dinner, we would like to update you regarding our activities and events.
The Chamber continues monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and adhering to recommendations from regulatory authorities to ensure the health and safety of our constituents. We are encouraged by the steady decline in COVID-19 cases and the distribution of vaccines, which have been proven highly effective at reducing spread of the virus.
To gain a better understanding of when our constituents may feel comfortable returning to in-person activities, we conducted a survey, the results of which were positive and demonstrate an interest in slowly resuming regular programming.
Given the decreasing trend in COVID-19 cases in the United States and the positive feedback from our members, the Chamber will gradually return to in-person activities, including the Person of the Year Awards Gala Dinner, for which we have reserved the date of Tuesday, November 16, 2021. The Person of the Year is the premier event of the Brazilian-American community in the United States and your continued support is paramount to maintaining our activities.
We reaffirm our commitment to our members and extended community and will continue to monitor the situation and update you on new developments.
