| | This will be short, friend. The end-of-month deadline is at midnight -- the last deadline before some critical states release their draft maps. We need your help to make it to our must-hit goal.
A few days ago, A.G. Holder wrote that "We’re on the clock. Every day is now an opportunity for conservatives to tighten their grip on power through gerrymandering. And we know they won’t waste a second of it."
That's the bad news. The good news is that the NDRC is fighting back in our 16 battleground states and across the country. But how much we can do -- how many manipulated maps we can stop and how many fair maps we can secure -- depends on your investment.
Will you take this last opportunity to pitch in before the deadline hits? Here's a special link just for you: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/sula_costa@yahoo.com

$24,177 left to raise to help fight back against foes of fair maps »Sula -- The conservative majority of the Supreme Court has a history of consolidating political power at the expense of voters.
Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and John Roberts have all had their hand in one or more Supreme Court rulings that have ultimately undermined our democracy. They’re no friends of fair maps or fair elections.
Here’s just a snapshot of how conservative-majority rulings have made it harder to have a truly representative democracy:
- In the Rucho decision, the Supreme Court refused to weigh in and put guardrails on partisan gerrymandering.
- During the pandemic, the Court refused to extend Wisconsin’s deadline for submitting absentee ballots.
- In July, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and John Roberts made it clear that they will continue to allow voter suppression tactics with their Brnovich decision.
The conservative majority on the United States Supreme Court can’t be relied on to ensure we have fairness in redistricting. But our grassroots movement can!
We set an end-of-month goal of raising $28,758 by tomorrow, Tuesday at 11:59pm to fight back against foes of fair maps like the Justices on the Supreme Court. We’re $24,177 away from our goal.
Will you make a one-time donation of $35 right now? That's just $7 per Supreme Court Justice who is in the way of fair maps and fair elections. If you're unable to pitch in $35 right now, you can also donate any amount that makes the most sense to you.
