On top of that, because of the Supreme Court’s decision in June, fair-map advocates no longer have a path to fighting gerrymandering in federal court. So we’re going to have to go state by state to ensure a fair process. Not to mention that it’s a huge election year and we’ll have to compete with the presidential race for voters’ attention. I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. I'm Olivia, the AOTL Colorado State Director. Redistricting is important to me because there is no electoral structure so powerful, yet so corrupted, that we as individuals have the direct ability to impact.

As a first-generation immigrant, I am profoundly committed to the democratic principles of this country -- it's why I joined the All On The Line team. And I'm proud that we're working to create systemic change and empower people's voices in the process.
