This film was directed by Andrucha Waddington and Mini Kerti and was produced by Conspiração Filmes. In Portuguese with English subtitles.

O Senado Federal enviou para sanção presidencial a nova LEI DE MIGRAÇÃO. Esta lei, em termos práticos, deixa a política migratória brasileira na mão de organismos internacionais (por exemplo, ONU e UNASUL), sem nenhuma representatividade junto ao povo brasileiro e sem nenhum tipo de limite à quantidade de imigrantes que queiram vir para o Brasil. Como disse o Ministro da Justiça: podem vir mil, dez mil, cem mil por ano, todos são bem-vindos.
O problema é que, se o Brasil já não consegue oferecer serviços públicos de qualidade a seu povo, como os proverá para "cem mil por ano"? Essa lei garante que qualquer estrangeiro que deseje permanecer no Brasil tenha acesso a todos os serviços públicos (saúde, previdência, etc.) como se fossem brasileiros. Quem pagará essa conta?
Não podemos aceitar essa lei tal como foi redigida e aprovada pelo senado. Se estiver de acordo, assine a campanha para enviar um email à secretaria de governo do presidente Michel Temer e pedir que a lei seja vetada:
Outro ponto problemático: o controle de criminosos ficará comprometido, pois a lei possibilita a "não criminalização da imigração". Aos estrangeiros são concedidos direitos de cidadãos, tais como a formação de partidos políticos e de sindicatos. Mas estão eles comprometidos com a coisa pública do Brasil ou com interesses de forças e de entidades externas?
A nova lei de migração viola os princípios da soberania nacional eexpõe as fronteiras brasileiras ao risco de qualquer pessoa adentrar nosso território para qualquer fim, sem sofrer o devido controle. Fronteira não é apenas um conceito na lei: fronteira são os limites geográficos entre os países, o que delimita sua materialidade. O presente projeto de lei implica a diluição desses limites, e, justamente porque nosso território se tornará indeterminado ou não delimitado, o país se verá exposto a possíveis conflitos com países vizinhos. Ao oferecer livre acesso, essa lei torna mais difícil o combate ao tráfico de drogas, de armas, de pessoas em nosso território, afetando a segurança publica. Ela também permite a criação de espaços de cidadania e de livre circulação das pessoas. Dessa forma se criarão diversos enclaves de estrangeiros em pleno território brasileiro.
Nosso país vive hoje diversas crises: crise de confiança, crise moral, crise econômica, crise de emprego, crise previdenciária, crise na saúde, crise tributária, e em especial crise na segurança pública: por ano são dezenas de milhares de assassinatos e de estupros, além do fato de que milhões de armas ilegais entram por nossas fronteiras, o que dá amplo poder ao crime organizado e a narcotraficantes.Pois bem, quanto tudo isso não se agravará se não se vetar a nova lei de migração! Leis que permitem um mundo sem fronteiras falharam na Inglaterra, na Bélgica, na Alemanha, na Suécia, na França, na Holanda, todos os quais são países ricos, ao contrário do Brasil. Hoje tais países são reféns de seu discurso migratório permissivo, e seus cidadãos passam a sofrer a discriminação reversa. Não é difícil imaginar o que ocorrerá em nosso país se não for vetada a lei de migração em pauta.
Antes de propor uma lei para receber centenas de milhares de refugiados ou imigrantes sem controle nem limite, nossos representantes deveriam compreender que qualquer absorção de migração só pode ser feita na medida em que se tenham condições de absorvê-la e sustentá-la.
Por fim, considerando que a União Europeia já manifestou interesse em remanejar refugiados para fora da Europa, com a aprovação de tal lei de migração o Brasil correrá sério risco de tornar-se seu natural escoadouro, com todas as consequências dramáticas que daí advirão.
