This is scary, Sula. In 1982, 1986, 1990, and again in 2004, courts found “instances of Republicans intimidating or working to exclude minority voters in the name of preventing fraud” and banned the RNC’s so-called voter fraud operations.

But in 2018, a federal court gave them the go-ahead to start up again.

Now, according to The New York Times, “the Republican Party, the Trump campaign, and conservative activists are mounting an aggressive national effort to shape who gets to vote in November -- and whose ballots are counted.”

Let’s be clear: The voter fraud claims repeatedly put forward by Trump and his acolytes are “nonsense” according to experts. This is yet another effort by the GOP to unfairly skew elections in their favor -- this time by intimidating or excluding voters they don’t like.

BACCF Chamber News May 2020 Dear BACCF Members and Friends, It is a pleasure to reach out to you, and a to welcome our new members, to the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (BACCF). We understand that now, more than ever, our organization will play a pivotal role in the continuous promotion and strengthening of the trade and investments between Brazil and South Florida.             The main concern for the BACCF remains the health and safety of our members as we navigate the global COVID-19 pandemic.
