Congressional maps that allow one party to take power with fewer votes are unfair -- plain and simple.
Yet that’s exactly what we’ve seen in Florida and Pennsylvania, where our analysis shows GOP-backed maps would give their party outsized representation in Congress.
The deck may be stacked, but our team has a plan to stop these cheaters.

Look, Sula -- a decade of elections under gerrymandered maps is not an option. If we fail, we will witness the further demise of our democracy at the hands of conservative map drawers and their counterparts in Congress.
We’ve identified key states across the country where we believe we can make a meaningful impact in the fight for fair maps. Grassroots advocacy, organizing, and supporting voters who challenge unfair maps in court is how our movement is holding map manipulators accountable when they fail to make the maps fair for everyone.
They are no match for the power of the people -- and it’s time we remind them.
Will you pitch in to ensure our team has the resources to achieve fair maps during this redistricting cycle?

We wanted to make sure you saw this BIG news, Sula: Salon: Republicans in Ohio created some of the nation's worst gerrymanders in 2021. But now the state Supreme Court has thrown out their gerrymandered state House, state Senate, AND congressional maps! While this is a massive win, we have a lot of work left to do in Ohio and other states -- so can you pitch in NOW to help us win the fight for fair redistricting?
It's hard to overstate how bad these discarded maps were. They would have likely given the GOP control of 67% of state House seats, 70% of state Senate seats, and EIGHTY PERCENT of Ohio’s congressional seats. This is in a state where just over half of the vote in recent elections went to the GOP!
