COVID0-19 has elicited an unprecedented monetary and credit policy response from the world’s central banks. The Banco Central do Brasil is no exception, creating and implementing a plethora of vehicles to keep the Brazilian financial markets liquid and helping the private sector access emergency credit. To talk about all the aspects of Brazilian monetary policy, we have BCB Director Fabio Kanczuk and Opportunity Asset Management’s Marcelo Fonseca to discuss these policy initiatives and the market reaction.

National Democratic Redistricting Committee
In a democracy, power should rest with citizens, not with special interests. And in 2021, we have a chance to wrest that power back, correcting some of these unfair maps and creating districts that better reflect the will of the people. -- Barack Obama
2020 is our last year to win elections so we can fix manipulated maps in 2021.
Will you join President Obama in the fight for fair maps?

The New York Times: Freed by Court Ruling, Republicans Step Up Effort to Patrol Voting -- Officials seek to recruit 50,000 poll watchers and spend millions to fight voter fraud. Democrats say the real goal is to stop them from voting. Condemn GOP efforts to suppress the vote >>>
This is scary, Sula. In 1982, 1986, 1990, and again in 2004, courts found “instances of Republicans intimidating or working to exclude minority voters in the name of preventing fraud” and banned the RNC’s so-called voter fraud operations.

But in 2018, a federal court gave them the go-ahead to start up again.

Now, according to The New York Times, “the Republican Party, the Trump campaign, and conservative activists are mounting an aggressive national effort to shape who gets to vote in November -- and whose ballots are counted.
Let’s be clear: The voter fraud claims repeatedly put forward by Trump and his acolytes are “nonsense” according to experts. This is yet another effort by the GOP to unfairly skew elections in their favor -- this time by intimidating or excluding voters they don’t like.

The NDRC and its affiliates are committed to protecting our elections. Will you add your name to condemn Republican efforts to suppress the vote?

A.G. Holder: If the NDRC is successful in undoing rigged maps, we will be able to achieve a system in which everyone's vote counts.

A.G. Holder is calling on us to support the Postal Service because, without congressional funding, it could run out of cash before election day. The USPS is essential to the fight for fair maps -- common-sense election protection solutions like vote-by-mail rely on the service to help voters safely cast absentee ballots from home.

Sign this petition to show growing support for Postal Service funding in the HEROES Act.

Map manipulators are willing to let this essential service collapse to obstruct avenues for safe voting. It's up to us to hold them accountable and stop this deliberate voter suppression.

We need to show widespread support for the Postal Service now if we want to be able to use this service in future elections. If you support USPS and vote-by-mail initiatives, take a stand.
