That's a LARGER audience share than ALL of Fox News' controversial primetime pundits, like Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham.
But we've dug through our records and couldn't track down whether YOU are one of the Maddow Show's millions of viewers. Please, lock in your response TONIGHT so we have your corrected information on file:

 The Republican Party is pushing the nonsensical “independent state legislature theory,” which could give state legislatures complete control of congressional redistricting and federal elections. Under their theory, it is possible that neither governors, nor courts, nor independent commissions get any say in the process. And now, conservative justices on the U.S. Supreme Court have agreed to hear a North Carolina case that tests this new legal “theory.”
Unsurprisingly, if the Court embraces this theory, it would benefit state legislatures controlled by Republicans, but also could hurt states with independent redistricting commissions.
At All On The Line, we have worked tirelessly for the past years to encourage states to make their redistricting process fair and transparent. To support the use of independent commissions in the redistricting process. To include communities that have been excluded in the past and need a voice.
And now, Republicans are asking the Supreme Court to destroy all of this progress
This is an existential moment for redistricting. Either we continue our fight to ensure fairness, equality, and inclusion during this process or many fair map wins may be wiped out in a single Supreme Court decision. Now more than ever, we need you. Please help contribute or we risk losing so much of what we’ve worked for. One can only imagine what the redistricting process will look like if we lose this fight. Shameless Republican state legislatures will create maps that exclude marginalized communities and pack them into districts to dilute their vote. They will make the process closed off and unavailable to the wider public, just like the chaotic and undemocratic process in Texas.
Now is not the time to sit back and watch. This is possibly the most dangerous attempt yet by the Republican Party to destroy our democracy by preventing free and fair elections.

| A short history of how we got to this point, Sula: That brings us to today. Not only are Republicans such as Governor Ron DeSantis clinging to their rigged maps, but they are continuing to spread Trump's Big Lie, suppressing the vote, and even waging attacks on election officials and processes!
So our strategy is shifting in response. To quote President Obama, “The fight for fair maps is part of the fight to protect our democracy.” That's why we're now fighting both the threat of Republican gerrymandering and the anti-democracy forces trying to take hold in the states. And when we say this election could be our last chance to win, we're not exaggerating.
