www.premio-ora.it

The deadline for the 8th edition of ORA Award has been extended till June 21, 2019

ORA is one of the longest running art awards in Italy. In this 8th edition, the jury is composed of 11 galleries. 10 galleries located in several Italian cities will select one artist each for a collaboration (solo, group show, or other event) to be realised in the 2019-20 exhibition season; while the 11th gallery, Massimo De Luca in Venice, will host a group exhibition comprising 5 artists selected by curator Eva Comuzzi, president of the jury for this edition.

All galleries in the jury will evaluate each profile impartially and autonomously in order to select artists with whom they have not previously worked, and in whom they are interested for a potentially long-term collaboration.

Over the years, many artists who won previous editions of ORA have established long-lasting relationships with the galleries that selected them, and are now active artists on the international scene.

List of all the galleries in the jury and application form are available online on our website: www.premio-ora.it.

All On The Line
Team --

This morning, breaking news came out related to our fight for a fair and accurate 2020 Census:

The New York Times published an internal strategy document written by Thomas Hofeller -- the late GOP operative known as the "Michelangelo of gerrymandering" -- that shows Republicans have been working for years to undermine the 2020 Census and add a "citizenship question" that depresses the count among immigrant and minority populations.

The National Redistricting Foundation, a 501(c)(3) affiliate of our campaign's own organization, is funding the gerrymandering lawsuit that brought these files to light.

All On The Line is working in key states to educate everybody about the importance of the 2020 Census and make sure we get a fair and accurate count. Chip in today to support our work.

Here are the most important facts in this report:
  • Hofeller wrote a study back in 2015 that concluded a citizenship question would "allow Republicans to draft even more extreme gerrymandered maps."

  • He concluded that a Texas district map based on citizenship would "be advantageous to Republicans and non-Hispanic whites."

  • He worked with President Trump's transition team to manufacture a reason to include it on the 2020 Census, even though he knew the results would diminish Latinx voting power.

  • And he wrote the key part of a Justice Department letter that the administration later used to justify its decision to push for the question.
None of this should be shocking. We've known for some time that this administration has no interest in an accurate count -- that they want to weaponize the 2020 Census and use it as a tool to continue manipulating our nation's electoral maps, and preventing vulnerable communities from getting the electoral power and federal funding they deserve.

But now, we have the most explicit proof yet. And we have a clear sense of the coordinated effort we're up against: GOP strategists, lobbyists, lawmakers, the White House, and its allies all working together to try and manipulate our system for their party's gain.

All On The Line is fighting every day to ensure a fair and accurate count in 2020. We're building teams on the ground in pivotal states -- and we need your help to keep going. Chip in today to stand up to these attacks.
