FIRST → Senator Elizabeth Warren called for a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices to restore trust in the Court and hold justices – like Clarence Thomas and Amy Coney Barrett! – accountable for possible conflicts of interest.
THEN → The American Bar Association voted to SUPPORT a binding code of ethics for Supreme Court justices.
NOW → We want to hear what grassroots Democrats think about this plan, so we’re counting on YOU to represent your community in our rapid response poll today.
After Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife, Ginni Thomas, was exposed for her role in Trump’s Big Lie and close ties to anti-abortion rights groups, the impartiality of the Court was called into question. But the American people deserve to feel confident in the Court!
That’s why it's critical that the Supreme Court has a binding code of ethics, so that justices are held accountable for any potential conflicts of interest.
But we want to hear what Democrats in your community think: Will you take our poll to let us know if you support a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices?
TAKE THE POLL →We’re counting on your response,
Team DLCC
DONATE >>It’s Ben Wikler, the Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, and I’m personally asking you to chip in a split donation of $10 between Wisconsin Democrats and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee to defeat MAGA Republicanism at the state level and elect Janet Protasiewicz to our state Supreme Court.
Our right-wing opponent Dan Kelly could uphold Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban and our grossly gerrymandered maps if he is elected to the state Supreme Court. We can’t let that happen.
But here’s the thing: His billionaire backers are willing to spend MILLIONS of dollars to crush our grassroots campaign to elect our commonsense candidate Janet Protasiewicz to the court.
Look: Reporters keep saying Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court election is expected to top all-time spending records. In an off-year election like this, voter turnout will almost certainly determine this race. My team needs your support to make sure voters hear our message loud and clear:
Dan Kelly is too extreme for Wisconsin. Can you rush $10 to the DLCC and the WisDems so we can beat MAGA extremism at the ballot box this April and build Democratic power in the states?
Elections in a battleground state always come down to the wire. My team says the last state Supreme Court race came down to a handful of votes per ward.
We can win this time, but we have to take our work seriously, keep our momentum up, and turn out voters in every corner of the state. Can my team count on your help in this critical moment? Rush in $10 between the WisDems and the DLCC to help us push across the finish line. I would not ask if it wasn’t crucial we win.
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately and be split between Wisconsin Democrats and the DLCC. |
Fight on,
Ben Wikler
DONATE »Folks, I have an exciting announcement and I want you to be the first to know: I’m officially running for reelection here in Montana.
I know this race won’t be easy, but my fight for working families isn’t done yet. | If you’re with me, please split a donation between American Bridge PAC and my campaign right now to become a Founding Donor. If I’m going to win this thing, I’ll need you by my side from the start. | | I’m not like most of my colleagues, and it’s not too hard to spot the differences. I’m the only working farmer in the U.S. Senate, and damn proud of it. My wife Sharla and I still work the very same land my grandparents farmed more than 100 years ago.
They didn’t know the meaning of the word “quit.” And neither do I. Our work in the Senate is not done. That’s why I’m running.
It won’t be easy. Mitch McConnell and his allies see me as a top target in their fight to take back the Senate – they’re already running ads attacking me. I’m the most vulnerable senator running for reelection right now, and experts are rating my race as a toss-up. But I know how to win tough fights. I’ve done it before as one of the only Democrats in a red state to win in 2018 – and I’ll do it again. | I can’t do it without your support, team. Can I count on you to step up and split a donation between my campaign and American Bridge PAC to become a Founding Donor so I can get back to work fighting for regular folks like you and me? | If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Jon Tester and American Bridge PAC will go through immediately: | I first ran for office because I didn’t see anyone sticking up for dirt farmers like me. In the years since, I’ve demanded that Washington work for the people, fought to get veterans the health care they’ve earned, and ensured Montanans have someone defending our values in the United States Senate.
And that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do when I’m reelected.
It’s been the honor of my life to represent Montana families in the United States Senate. I’m fired up and excited for the road ahead, and I’m grateful to have you by my side through it all.
| | CPAC, the GOP’s biggest campaign event of the year is currently underway. But if we mobilize right now, we can make it backfire on Republicans EVERYWHERE. Here’s why it’s so urgent: Donald Trump and far-right extremists like Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Ted Cruz are set to speak – and Republicans across the country are going to be FIRED UP. But if Democrats in your community step up now with a FLOOD of donations, it’ll send a clear signal to the GOP that grassroots Democrats stand united against their unpopular, extreme agenda. So please, before Trump and his cronies take the stage at CPAC: Will you rush a donation of $7 right now to counteract Republicans’ momentum and fight back against Trump’s right-wing state allies? If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately. |
With 2024 on the horizon, we can’t risk Republicans gaining any ground – and CPAC is a MAJOR fundraising opportunity for the GOP. That’s why it’s critical that we show the full strength of this people-powered movement right now – and prove we’re ready to go toe-to-toe with Republican extremists this year, in 2024, and beyond. Let’s greet CPAC with a show of our Democratic strength: Rush $7 right now to send a message that we’re ready to fight back and defeat extremist state Republicans across the country >> Thanks for stepping up to the plate. – Team DLCC DONATE »
BIG NEWS: Democrats won THREE special elections in Connecticut – defending three critical seats in the House! We’re thrilled – Democrats have cinched victories in special elections nationwide – from Pennsylvania and Virginia to Connecticut and New Hampshire – and we’re only getting started! But we can’t slow down now – Republicans are pouring money into the states, and the GOP just launched attack ads in Virginia ahead of this fall’s ultra-competitive elections. It’s critical that we continue building our momentum now, so we can give our candidates the support they need to go toe-to-toe against extremist Republicans in elections across the country. Will you chip in $7 right now to help power more Democrats to victories in elections like these? If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately. |
With enough grassroots support, we can replicate Tuesday night's incredible victories in upcoming elections – but it’ll take the full strength of this people-powered movement to WIN against the GOP’s outsized spending. We need you to step up today: Rush a gift of $7 right now to defeat state Republicans in special elections nationwide >> – Team DLCC DONATE »

I met Edith in 2007, at a small get-together in Greenwood, South Carolina. It was the early days of my campaign for president, and I was still finding my way as a candidate.
I walked into the event in Greenwood after an hour and a half in the car. It was raining that day and there was only 20 people.
But as I went around the room to shake people’s hands and thank them for coming, I suddenly heard this voice cry out, “Fired up!”
And people shouted back, “Fired up!”
Then I heard, “Ready to go!”
And everyone shouted, “Ready to go!”
I looked to see where the voice had come from, and there was Edith. I later learned that she had been active in the local NAACP and served on the Greenwood County Council. She was known in the community for raising people’s spirits.
When we left the event, I told my staff, “I’m feeling kind of fired up. Are you fired up?”
And they’d say, “Yeah, I’m fired up.”
“Are you ready to go?”
“Yeah, I’m feeling ready to go.”
We went on to do that chant in front of huge crowds of people across the county. Edith’s story was an example of how one person can change a room, and the ripple effect can go much further. And it spoke to a core belief of mine that leadership or inspiration can come from anywhere – and anyone.
Edith recently announced she was stepping down after 24 years on the Greenwood County Council. We reconnected so I could congratulate her on her years of service, and hear some of her advice for the next generation of leaders: Check out our reunion.
Congratulations, Edith, and best of luck with your next chapter.
