Dear Laugh-o-nauts!
Hope you all had a great summer. Mine was quite eventful - featuring a return to New York City, a stellar performance at the National Council of La Raza's 2012 Convention and an appearance on Robert Kelly's "You Know What Dude" comedy podcast! But like all good things, summer is coming to an end which can only mean one thing - BACK TO SCHOOL!
That's right, I'm going BACK TO SCHOOL... sort of. Starting August 21st, I begin my College Tour across the country. Starting with my first ever visit to North Dakota. I'm not even sure there's ever been a Latino in North Dakota - time to find out! Check below for other schools I'll be dropping in on. CHCI Reyes of Comedy!
I've been invited back for my record setting 3rd appearance at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's Reyes of Comedy Event - I feel like the Brett Favre of comedy. This year's event is very special to me as we are inducting my friend US Representative/Congressmen Silvestre Reyes into the Reyes of Comedy Hall of Fame. Proceeds of this event go to the CHCI's Youth Leadership development programs. I've been working side by side with CHCI for many years now and am truly honored to be a part of such an amazing event and organization.
CHCI's 12th Annual Reyes of Comedy event will be held on Wednesday September 12th, 2012 at the prestigious Ronald Regan Building Amphitheater. Doors open at 7:45pm and show starts at 8:15pm. It promises to be a night of big laughs as I'm joined by Felipe Esparza (Last Comic Standing), Melissa Villasenor (America's Got Talent) and Alex Reymundo (Original Latin King of Comedy).
