Goianas são beneficiadas com ações do Governo Federal
 Na Comunidade Indaiá II, a 50 km de Luziânia (GO), a agricultora familiar Edite Lopes do Carmo cursou apenas até a 2ª série do ensino fundamental. Hoje, Edite faz parte da Associação de Mulheres Exercendo a Cidadania (Amec), que vende a produção excedente de alimentos frescos ao Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos (PAA), do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social e Combate à Fome (MDS) em parceria com o Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário (MDA).
Com o dinheiro resultante do próprio trabalho, a agricultora já alcançou uma pequena conquista, sem precisar da ajuda do marido, adquiriu um sofá novo para a casa. Mas que apenas um móvel, o objeto simboliza a independência conquistada por Edite. “Juntei [o dinheiro] das verduras que colhi na roça... Fico orgulhosa de ter o dinheirinho”, comemora.
Para a presidente da Amec, Evanilde da Costa Meireles Paula, “as mulheres conseguiram a sua independência, melhoraram a autoestima e algumas trouxeram os maridos [de volta] para a produção da agricultura familiar”. Ela explica que a maioria dos homens deixa suas terras para trabalhar em outros serviços.
As ações do governo federal geram resultados no campo e na cidade, como mostra a a dona de casa Eliete Teixeira da Cruz, de Planaltina (GO). Divorciada e mãe de dois meninos, ela conta com o apoio da família e com a proteção social garantida por lei pela União, estados e municípios.
Enquanto Eliete procura emprego, o filho mais velho está na escola pública, e o mais novo em uma creche conveniada com a prefeitura - ação do Brasil Carinhoso. Os programas voltados à educação também poderão beneficiar a própria Eliete, que atualmente busca crédito do Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies), do Ministério da Educação, para cursar pedagogia à noite.
Sem emprego há três meses, a dona de casa conseguiu em fevereiro, por meio do Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (Cras), o benefício do Bolsa Família de volta. Ela é uma das beneficiadas pelo desligamento voluntário e retorno imediato ao programa desde que o Plano Brasil Sem Miséria foi implantado. “Eu estava trabalhando e pedi para dar baixa”, explica.

Mulheres à frente na política
 Após décadas de luta por reconhecimento e igualdade, as mulheres conquistaram grandes vitórias - embora muitas outras sejam ainda necessárias. No mercado de trabalho, na educação, na ciência e na política, as mulheres mostram seu potencial para o protagonismo, liderança e bons resultados.
As mulheres fizeram parte da fundação do Partido dos Trabalhadores e continuam sendo essenciais nas lutas do partido. Desde sua fundação, o PT busca uma uma sociedade mais igualitária, na qual o papel da mulher seja reconhecido e valorizado. Hoje, o PT tem o orgulho de abrigar entre seus filiados inúmeras prefeitas, vereadoras, governadoras, ministras e secretárias que contribuem para o crescimento do país.
"O Partido dos Trabalhadores se orgulha da participação feminina em sua militância. Nos 33 anos de história do PT, as mulheres sempre ocuparam posições essenciais dentro da organização", afirmou o deputado federal Rubens Otoni.
Há dois anos, o Brasil elegeu a primeira presidenta de sua história. Dilma Rousseff entrou para o grupo, ainda pequeno, de mulheres que lideram ou lideraram nações inteiras. A vitória marca uma grande conquista para todas as brasileiras, representadas pela presidenta. Nas eleições de 2012 o PT de Goiás teve entre seus 17 prefeitos eleitos três mulheres: Maria Inês (Ceres), Selma (Cidade de Goiás) e Lucimar (Valparaíso), além de inúmeras vereadoras em todo o estado.
"Hoje a mulher esta discutindo a sociedade como todo", destacou Maria Inês, sobre a participação da mulher na política. "Conseguimos vencer as barreiras, eu avalio que já estamos presentes na sociedade, contribuindo em todas as áreas", completou. A prefeita atentou ainda para a responsabilidade da conquista recente. "É uma responsabilidade muito grande conquistar uma prefeitura (Ceres). A primeira mulher prefeita sou eu".
Para a prefeita da cidade de Goiás, Selma, é necessário continuar trabalhando, "nós mulheres estamos com um número maior de representação na política, seja prefeita, vereadora, deputada, senadora, mas ainda falta muito", afirmou.
Segundo a prefeita, a eleição de Dilma Rousseff contribuiu para a conquista de espaço feminino na política. "O crescimento significativo da mulher na política se deu por causa da presidenta Dilma, ela que foi considerada a terceira mulher mais poderosa do mundo. Isso, não resta dúvida, que fortaleceu muito a mulher no campo da politica", declarou Selma.
