Let me guess -
you want publicity for your music. If you're getting this newsletter,
chances are that either you or someone you know makes awesome tunes, and
is trying to get them into the ears of tastemakers.
Music publicity
DOES NOT have to cost an arm and a leg. Obviously, paying a good music
publicist to get you press can be a great investment, and will save you
lots of time and work. But if you are just starting out, don't have a
big budget, and want to get some publicity on your own, we've got your
back.
We put our heads
together here at Cyber PR and came up with a 3-part blog series, giving
you a thorough rundown of what YOU can do to get good publicity, DIY
style.
Part 1 teaches you how to prep your Electronic Press Kit and Signature Story (bio). Part 2 will
help you research the perfect music blogs, prep your newsletter, and
plan your release schedule. Part 3 (click the graphic below) gets into
the nitty gritty of pitching to music blogs and getting results! Read
on...
We hope that this series is helpful for you.
Take a look, ask us questions in the comments section, and then go kick
some publicity butt!
Here's to your success!
Love, Ariel

On Earth Day this Friday, more than 150 countries will sign the Paris
Agreement, a crucial step forward in the fight against climate change.
That breaks the record for the number of countries signing an
international agreement on an opening day.
That's progress worth celebrating -- but we can't slow down in pushing
for meaningful climate action on the local and state level. The Paris
Agreement is just one example of the achievements that are possible when
we work together to tackle climate change.
This week, OFA volunteers are organizing climate events in communities all over the country. Can you make it to an event?
Here are the details:
What: Earth Day Action Event
Where:
441 West 26th Street
New York,
NY
10001
When:
Tuesday,
April
26ᵗʰ
6:00 pm
Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate change is
real and manmade. And it's not some far-off, abstract problem --
communities all over the country are already experiencing its effects
with a higher frequency of extreme weather events like storms, droughts,
and heat waves. This your chance to speak up for critical action.
Attending a local event is a great opportunity to get involved and make a
difference on an issue that matters to you -- and one that will matter
to future generations for decades to come.
