We hosted a webinar on the topic in September, focusing on how the revolution will impact society and disrupt traditional business models. All On The Line
"It has been almost a decade since the 2010 cycle of redistricting, and the country is still reckoning with the impact."
-- Center for American Progress

Sula -- The Center for American Progress recently released a report on the impacts of partisan gerrymandering. While not surprising, the findings are damning: gerrymandering is effectively disenfranchising millions of Americans.

Redistricting is a civil rights issue. That's why AG Holder and President Obama have taken up the fight against manipulated maps and have asked you to join this grassroots movement to end gerrymandering.

The CAP report found that unfairly drawn congressional districts shifted an average of 59 seats in the House of Representatives during the 2012, 2014, and 2016 elections -- impacting the representation of approximately 42 million Americans.

CAP described the findings in very clear terms: "The inescapable conclusion is that gerrymandering is effectively disenfranchising millions of Americans. This should be considered a critical situation."

Map manipulation attempts to silence the voices of voters -- it's how states like Michigan saw Democrats win the popular vote from 2012 to 2016, yet Republicans held a decisive advantage at every level of government.

All On The Line is working to hold map manipulators accountable. Can we count on you to make a monthly donation to our grassroots organizing program?
