Voting empowerment funding will be essential to protecting our democratic process this November. But that funding needs to be passed NOW so local governments can invest in expanding vote-by-mail and making in-person voting safer.
The HEROES Act, passed by the House more than two months ago, allocated $3.6 billion to election protection funding -- but Mitch McConnell has been running out the clock on Senate approval.
With the election less than four months away, we need to make sure the Senate fully funds election protection so no one will be forced to choose between their health and their vote. Congress is in session this week. Contact your senators and demand action.
It's no surprise we're seeing this kind of gamesmanship from Mitch McConnell in the Senate. He knows that if he can suppress the vote in 2020, it'll give map manipulators a clearer path to gerrymander in 2021.
We've joined a coalition-wide effort to fight for election protection funding this week -- and today is our day to flood Congress with calls, emails, and tweets demanding action. We set a goal for All On The Line supporters to contact Congress 5,000 times today.
Take action! Contact your senators now to be one of the 100 people we need from New York to reach our goal and fight for fair, safe voting!

We launched this day of action because Mitch McConnell is expected to release the Senate version of the HEROES Act this week. And as a co-conspirator of voter suppression, we suspect his bill will drastically cut election protection funding as compared to the House bill. Your senators need to hear from constituents NOW!
These protections will not only help ensure the integrity of the election in November -- but also the redistricting process in 2021. Underfunded election administration during a pandemic could cause widespread voter suppression. And map manipulators know that disenfranchising voters will only help them -- and negatively impact our ability to secure fair maps. We set a goal of contacting Congress 5,000 times today -- we're on track to do it, but we need 38 people from New York to take action. Ask your senator to commit to supporting voter empowerment funding in the HEROES Act. -- AOTL Advocacy Team
