I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. I'm Olivia, the AOTL Colorado State Director. Redistricting is important to me because there is no electoral structure so powerful, yet so corrupted, that we as individuals have the direct ability to impact.
As a first-generation immigrant, I am profoundly committed to the democratic principles of this country -- it's why I joined the All On The Line team. And I'm proud that we're working to create systemic change and empower people's voices in the process.
If you agree that fair maps are essential to a fair system, join the AOTL Grassroots Advocacy team!
As President Obama said, we have a plan to end map manipulation -- but we need a strong grassroots movement to make it happen. By signing up for the advocacy team, you'll get state-specific action alerts when there are opportunities to get involved in this fight.
We have the opportunity to hold our elected officials accountable in the upcoming redistricting process. I truly believe that together we can make a difference, so I hope you'll join the Advocacy team.
Talk soon!

We know that this year's elections will decide the direction of the next decade, but this quote below really puts things into perspective.
5,000 lawmakers in 35 states! In many cases, the people we elect will have a direct hand in drawing new districts for Congress and state legislatures. The stakes could not be higher.
Sign our Citizen Commitment and pledge to only support candidates who want fair and representative districts.
The next ten years of political progress are at stake. If map manipulators get their way next year, gerrymandering will stall progress on everything from health care to common-sense gun laws. And we won't have a chance to rectify the maps until 2031 -- we must act now.
