Digital Entrepreneurship as a Competitive Strategy by Rodolf Ghannan

New studies explore the fundamental importance of organizational culture as a core strategy for success in this era of the digital economy. According to digital marketing expert Rodolf Mikel Ghannan Neto, in a scenario marked by rapid technological transformations, understanding how dynamic capabilities influence the culture of innovation is essential for leaders to guide their organizations efficiently and sustainably.

In an initial analysis with a historical review of strategic models, from Philip Kotler's propositions—which emphasized marketing and market management—to the contemporary challenges presented by Vial (2019), which highlight the need for rapid adaptation to digital changes, Rodolf Ghannan emphasizes that this transition demonstrates that, today, innovation and agility are not only competitive advantages, but indispensable requirements for organizational survival.

Digital entrepreneurship goes beyond using digital technology for existing businesses. The expert states that this is a new entrepreneurial approach to thinking and acting, where perceiving opportunities, seizing value, and reconfiguring resources are not only competitive elements, but essential for survival in the digital market. This transformation requires leaders who know how to operate in perpetual ambiguity and drive superior performance, nurturing a corporate culture that incorporates experimentation as an intrinsic part of the company's DNA.

Studies and analyses demonstrate that dynamic capabilities play a fundamental role in the emergence of digital entrepreneurship, not only as strategic tools, but as formative elements of a new organizational pattern adapted to the needs of the digital economy. The journey through which corporate leadership evolves from traditional management to digital entrepreneurship represents a paradigmatic transformation that transcends changes in style or technique.

Organizational culture emerges as the ultimate strategy that determines whether a company can innovate and adapt sustainably. The conclusions of the theoretical analysis converge in recognizing that digital entrepreneurship is a fundamentally new way of creating, capturing, and delivering value in the context of accelerated transformation. Dynamic capabilities constitute key building blocks of a new organizational form that connects strategic agility, continuous innovation, and cultural responsiveness as pillars for survival in in today's digital economy.

São Paulo's Historic Center hosts Municipal

 Tourism Forum

The Municipal Tourism Forum, designed to promote the   São Paulo's Historic Center, was held on August 12th. The meeting took place at the Department of Tourism and Travel, located at Praça Ramos de Azevedo, 254, 1st floor, in the heart of the Historic Center. The main objective was to strengthen local tourism and promote the region's historical heritage, thus stimulating the local economy and culture in an integrated manner.

Participating in the event were Ruy Alves, Municipal Secretary of Tourism, and Mônica Samia, State Executive Secretary of Tourism, as well as Augustinho Turbinan, the Forum organizer. The program included thematic panels that discussed strategies for tourism promotion, heritage conservation, and encouraging cultural activities that attract residents and visitors to the streets, squares, and historic spaces of the city center.

Among the highlights was a panel with chef Gil Gondim, who shared perspectives on local cuisine as a driver of tourist attraction and cultural identity for the Historic Center. The event's buffet was provided by Marco Zero da Gastronomia, featuring dishes and menus that emphasize regional ingredients and traditional culinary practices, connecting the gastronomic experience to the region's historical journey.

The Forum emphasized the importance of strengthening local tourism as a path to cultural dissemination, heritage preservation, and economic dynamism in the Historic Center. The discussions demonstrated that small initiatives, aligned with municipal public policies and partnerships with the state government and the private sector, can increase visitor flow, encourage local businesses, expand professional development opportunities, and foster the region's cultural agenda.

At the end, guidelines were outlined for integrated promotional initiatives, tourism experience packages, and training programs for residents and business owners in the downtown area. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to valuing historical heritage as an essential economic and cultural asset for the city of São Paulo.

The event was also attended by Dr. Guilherme Afif, who highlighted Governor Tarcísio's decision to bring government-funded infrastructure downtown, seen as a major step toward revitalizing the central region. The program also featured Agostinho Turbian, president of the GCSM and the Innsbruck Group, as well as Tony Sandro and Sula Miranda, who delighted the audience with songs about road trip tourism. The event, to be congratulated, was a full day of networking, attracting thousands of visitors from other states and bringing together representatives from the hotel and tourism sectors. The focus remains on revitalizing downtown São Paulo, seeking to generate more visitors and enhance the prestige of the central area.

CTE promotes the "Tall Buildings  from Brazil" event focusing on innovation, safety, performance, quality, innovation, and sustainability

On August 18th and 19th, the "Tall Buildings of Brazil" event will bring together experts to discuss the technical, environmental, and social challenges of skyscraper construction in the country. The target audience is the construction industry's production chain, which includes decision-making executives such as CEOs, directors and other technical managers, strategic specialists, material and equipment manufacturers, startups, and professionals from engineering, architecture, construction, and the real estate sector to discuss the future of urban verticalization in Brazil.

The initiative and conception is from CTE (Center for Technology and Buildings), a consulting and management firm that celebrates its 35th anniversary in style this year. The event is co-organized by CUBO Itaú and MPD Engenharia. The event also features a strong technical curatorship with Roberto de Souza, CEO of CTE, Stéphane Domeneghini, Executive Director at Talls Solutions, and Daniel Toledo, CEO of Königsberger Vannucchi Arquitetos Associados.

The event will offer a two-day technical immersion of high-quality content on strategic topics with in-depth discussions on the challenges and advances of tall buildings in Brazil and internationally.

"Connecting the construction sector to reflect on the critical issues for tall building construction is our goal. Opening the debate, engaging experts, and ensuring the expansion of knowledge. In this way, we believe we are contributing to the evolution of the sector," emphasizes Roberto de Souza, CEO of CTE. The construction of tall buildings is a growing trend in Brazil, driving transformations throughout the construction industry. This scenario requires continuous updating of professionals, suppliers, manufacturers, developers, startups, and investors, who must be aligned with new construction methodologies, technologies, safety parameters, and regulatory frameworks. More than a technical demand, this is an evolution that impacts the future of cities and the strategic positioning of all players in the sector.

The event also takes place at a time of market transformation, highlighting iconic projects such as the Senna Tower, a world leader in residential developments, at 544m, the Yachthouse, at 294m, the One Tower, at 290m, all in Balneário Camboriú, and the Alto das Nações, at 219m, the largest office building under construction in São Paulo. Developers are also investing in new residential skyscrapers planned for the coming years, reinforcing the urgency of considering urban growth with planning, technology, and environmental commitment. Proof of this is Cyrela, which is already leading the largest residential development in the design phase, the 210m2 Pinifarina Rebouças.

"Building upwards is a natural response to the densification of cities. But this needs to be done with a vision for the future, responsibility, and innovation. The challenge is not only to overcome gravity, but also to deliver buildings that are sustainable, efficient, and aligned with the values of our time. The CTE, which has been in the market for 35 years, has a unique perspective on these development structures," says Roberto de Souza, president of the CTE. Roberto de Souza of the CTE, along with Stéphane Domeneguini, executive director of Talls Solution(S), a company of the FG Group responsible for the country's tallest skyscrapers, including the largest residential building in Latin America and, now, the largest residential building in the world, the Senna Tower, and Daniel Toledo, CEO of Königsberger Vannucchi Arquitetos Associados, who leads one of Brazil's most innovative architectural firms, are the technical curators of this event, a worthy industry highlight.

The CTE currently stands out in sustainability with environmental certifications, whose market share is approximately 40% of projects seeking this recognition. It is also one of the largest consulting firms in quality and construction management. "Today, based on CTBUH mapping, Brazil ranks 15th in the world ranking of Tall Buildings, considering Talls 150m+. We already have 94 buildings under construction and 54 in the design phase," concludes Roberto regarding Brazilian projects.
