Yara Maura Silva is a writer, poet, journalist, cartoonist, author, playwright, lyricist, as well as an international executive. As the head of MSP International INC. she has singlehandedly lead the promotion of the characters for kids created by Mauricio de Sousa throughout the five continents. She is the author of texts in verse for innumerous book collections that have been published in Brazil by Editoras Abril, Cedic, Consultor, Fama, FTD, Globo,Mauricio de Sousa Editora, Melhoramentos, Nova Fronteira, Panini, and Siciliano. Her books have also been translated to several languages and published by Classica, PT Gramedia, and Panini Europe. Those books, illustrated by Mauricio de Sousa, have reached over 18 million copies. Many titles have been selected by the PNLD (Plano Nacional do Livro Didatico) and other similar organizations that place books across school libraries in Brazil Yara Maura created both the text and the lyrics for the celebrated musical play “Monica and Jimmy Five in the World of Romeo and Juliet.” In 2013 the revival of the play returned to the stage as part of the 50th anniversary of the character Monica. Editor Arnaldo Niskier, the president of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, selected her script for a book featuring the ten best plays for children in Brazil. Her brother, Marcio Roberto, composed the music and Yara Maura created the lyrics for other musicals as well as animations featuring Monica’s Gang, Their music has been published by RCA / Fermata, Polygram, Warner Chappel, and Sonica. Their CDs have been awarded Gold Records three times Yara Maura was the first woman writer of the Chico Anysio show on Globo T.V. She has supervised and created lyrics for 80 educational programs produced for T.V. in a project with FIESP featuring Monica’s Gang. As a cartoonist she launched daily strips with children characters of her own creation that have been featured for seven years in the newspaper “Correio Braziliense”. She was responsible for the concept of Comics-for-a-Cause, created for social and educational campaigns with over 70 million copies published. These have been translated in various languages to teach the children of the Americas about health and well-being. Those campaigns have also been promoted with a series of Public Service Announcements shown on TV channels all across the world. Comics-for-a-cause has had over 30 campaigns, four of which were especially made for the International Health Day presented by WHO and PAHO (Pan American Health Org.) who have bestowed upon her brother Mauricio de Sousa the title of Champion of Health in the Americas. Yara Maura has actively participated in important Books, Animation, and Brand Licensing Events, and has been a part of countless international panels and conferences in Brazil, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Well, this is your chance! The White House Student Film Festival is back with a new theme: "The World I Want to Live In." From now through July 15th, we'll be taking submissions from K-12 students across the country. We can’t wait to see your vision for the future, whether its fiction, animation, or documentary.

Over the past years we’ve received thousands of submissions -- truly amazing creations that inspired us film buffs here at the White House. This will be President Obama’s third and final White House Student Film Festival, so we encourage you to spread the word to friends, whether they are kids, parents or teachers with a passion for creating videos and sharing stories. Students under the age of 14 should have their parent, guardian, or teacher assist with submitting.

If your project is selected, you may have a chance to attend the Film Fest right here at the White House. The Official Selections will also be featured across the White House website and social media channels. You can watch several entries from the past two student film festivals for some inspiration.

Remember, submissions close on July 15th, so get filming to be sure that deadline doesn't sneak up on you!

Uma maneira contraditória de educação com ética e bom-senso. Os escritorios de advocacia sao todas alienados a vários esquemas de suborno afim de  sucumbir as atrocidades deles...  da medo minha gente , porque sao capazes de cometer os atos mais sinistros para corromper uma alma digna.  Querem nos enficar a imundicia deles guela à baixo...a qualquer preço. Eu poderia descrever os abusos que sofri , das pessoas alienadas a esses delinquentes . E continuam ai, livres , leves e soltos! Espero que a verdade prevaleça sempre ! Advogados no centro de Anapolis - Goias, corruptos , alienadores, aliciadores...um verdadeiro  horror,infiltram em órgãos publicos, um  terror que tranpõe a etica e o bom  senso. Nao entendo ... art. 2º, parágrafo único, inc. VIII, e, do Código de Ética e disciplina da OAB, que impede o advogado de aliciar ou de patrocinar o aliciamento da parte "ex adversa" sem o acompanhamento de seu mandatário. Gente sao nao sei quantos zilhoes de artigos criados propondo a proibição,mas, acho que eles nao entenderam.Por que nao investigam esses bandidos? Nao pode ser..querem comprar a verdade, fazem coisas absurdas , subornam oficiais de justiça, acham que são Deus minha gente...ate hoje eu nao vi uma providencia a ser tomada em relaçao a esses advogados bandidos, continuam ai perambulando, sem falar na alienaçao, ate subornar um assediador afim de uma armar emboscada para acusar gente inocente. Sao capazes de tudo meu povo!!!! Deus esta vendo!!! A falta de carater deles realmente me assuta. Eu estou realmente indignada de ve-los soltos em Anapolis. Pra mim isso é o fim da linha, se nao forem julgados , continuarao mantendo o crime organizado , tudo resolvido no cochicho, na surdina , nos seus escritorios camuflados de mentiras e crimes. Peço a Deus que sejam investigados e que a justiça se concretize. Tudo isso mesmo e muito mais. Nao param por ai nao, o processo que montaram parece mais a bilbia satanica aprendida e ensinada , por seus ancestrais, é isso mesmo, a falta de bom senso e a violencia comprovam que é uma herança passada de pai para filho, e olha que posso comprovar isso mediante aos ultimos acontecimentos, nao e mesmo ? Sao a-s-s-a-s-s-i-n-o-s minha gente! Na minha opinião, um processo naquele nivel, so poderia ser descrito por bandidos de baixo calão como eles mesmos , parecia mais uma lavagem de porcos , a linguagem agressiva revela totalmente o carater maquiavelico de dois irmaos advogados dopados pelo seu proprio veneno. Sentaram no seu próprio"rabinho" dessa vez. Alguem etico e culto, nao conseguiria expor uma imundicia daquela nao...e, por falar nisso, estao bem quietos, nao se manifestam, e quando resolvem silenciar, podem esperar!!!! Ficam enfurnados nos seus escritorios planejando o mata-mata, maquinando o momento certo de golpear mais uma vitima, almejando sempre a proxima extorsão...querem se dar bem , custe o que custar...o "oba" "oba" não para nunca... Nao agem com verdade ,nao deixam vestigios, nao se expoem, toda fala é calculada, medida, porque sao profissionais do crime. Mas mandam fazer,mandam mesmo minha gente.Sao varios os crimes. A mente deles é uma chacina em atividade, que nao para de maquinar nunca...quem os conhecem sabe do que estou falando...é um tal de quem mata quem ,eu descrevo isso como um terror, um pesadelo ver minha filha coagida e manipulada por essa familia de assassinos. Dificil de acreditar que existe gente assim. Mas existe. Parecem fantoches, esperando a hora certa de se promoverem, de ser o palhacinho elegante da vez! Um verdadeiro circo montado! Planejam um discurso falso moralista, para exporem à sociedade mais uma vez a sua falta de carater camuflada nos seus terninhos engomados, e o pior é que quem os assisti, ate acreditam, acham que convencem...achavam, alias....ultimamente nao andam convencendo nem o vizinho alienado. Esse sim! Aprendeu certinho com eles! Me deu uma aula sobre o poder da manipulação e da maldade! Conheço varios advogados , inclusive criminalistas, nao estou falando só a nivel nacional nao, mas, nunca vi coisa tao horrenda na vida, a defesa planejada e distorcida por eles, é só mais uma forma de expressar na verdade quem eles realmente sao... Tentaram até abrir um inquerito... tentando me incriminar,mas incriminar o que? Porque falei a verdade?Afirmaram ainda: " porque o fulano é quem manda." Isso mesmo minha gente, usaram mais uma vez deste discurso, dizem que quando o fulano grandao manda, todo mundo tem que obedecer. Proporam me deter, afim de que os crimes deles nao venham a tona, sentiram muito ofendidinhos de serem reconhecidos com ladroes , aliciadores, assassinos e corruptos! Mas nao hesitam quando querem caluniar , agredir, matar ,roubar e até mesmo destruir pessoas inocentes , e, ficam injuriados quando sao reconhecidos como tal. A calunia, as injurias e os abusos que sofri nao é nem o começo daquilo que ainda vou falar e provar , mas com fe em Deus estou seguindo meu caminho! Isso é o Brasil meu povo. Terra sem lei. Estou em meio a um colapso mental de ve-los ainda absolvidos.
