VAll On The Line
On Election Day, Virginia showed the entire country what our future will look like if we win the fight for fair maps. Take a look:

"New maps were supposed to give Virginia's black voters more power.Tuesday's elections suggest it worked."
-- The Virginia Pilot

"Virginia Democrats' Victory Proves That Gerrymandering Matters"
-- Slate

"The Democratic Wins in Virginia Are What Happens When You Have... Fair Elections"
-- The Nation
President Obama is supporting All On The Line because it is the only organization with the training, organizing, and advocacy strategy to continue the battle for fair maps.
Will chip in to help fund our efforts?

For years, control of the Virginia legislature was locked up by conservative map manipulators who drew racial gerrymanders to lock in their power. But a court implemented new, fair maps earlier this year and the result was a fair election for the House of Delegates for the first time in a decade.

As excited as I am about the outcome in Virginia, our path to fair elections will be tougher in our 2020 target states. We know that politicians don't always do the right thing on their own. It's why we need to invest in building a grassroots organizing team across our target states.

Right now, state legislators in North Carolina are doing everything in their power to sidestep a state court decision striking the prior gerrymandered maps and urging the General Assembly to draw new, fair maps. Grassroots advocates and All On The Line volunteers are working overtime to keep these legislators honest, through old-fashioned organizing and advocacy tactics.

As AG Holder said, "The needs are great, the time is now... It's going to take citizen involvement. It's going to take you." Are you able to meet the needs of the moment and pitch in a few dollars to support our movement?
