Friend – I was just reviewing a polling analysis James Carville and Paul Begala sent over on our must-win Senate race in Nevada. So today, I want to take just a moment to share a little bit more about my faith with you. I am the proud granddaughter of Jewish immigrants. From a young age, my family taught me the values of hard work, determination, and persistence – and I learned how Jewish women have been holding our communities together and taking a stand against injustice from the time of the Torah to today. Now, as both the third Jewish woman Senator in U.S. history, and the only former synagogue president in the U.S. Senate, I'm proud to carry these values with me in everything I do to serve Nevada and our country. And in this present moment, we're facing no shortage of issues – many of which directly impact women and the Jewish community. From growing antisemitism to attacks on abortion rights, to attacks on our very democracy, I know it's my duty to respond with clear resolve and a commitment to social justice.
