“Fashion Show Mondepars”: the fashion future by Sasha Meneghel”

On June 11th, the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo hosted an unforgettable event: the 2025 winter fashion show by the Mondepars brand, which showcased its noble winter collection, making it one of the best-constructed collections in recent times.

Commanded by Sasha Meneghel, the event was much more than just a catwalk; the show captivated the audience with a unique atmosphere of glamour, emotion and celebration of Brazilian fashion.

The show was already a great spectacle in itself, but the presence of illustrious names made it even more grand. Among the highlights, maestro João Carlos enchanted the audience with his striking presence, bringing an aura of sophistication and culture. At his side, a proud mother, Xuxa Meneghel, watched the event with shining eyes, flanked by Juno, her partner and João Lucas – Sasha’s husband. The presence of the eternal The Queen of the Little Ones brought a special energy to the atmosphere, connecting generations and reinforcing the importance of the moment.

In the audience, Sasha Meneghel was also overcome with emotion, as she saw her brand receive recognition and admiration from a select audience of celebrities and fashionistas. Her presentation reaffirmed her identity as a designer and showed the evolution of a young woman who, in addition to being an heiress, is brilliantly paving her own path, and is consolidating her space in the fashion world by representing a cool and refined Brazil. The participation of Bruna Marquezine, considered one of Sasha's best friends, also added a touch of intimacy and joy to the event.

The Mondepars winter fashion show was much more than a collection; it was a rite of passage, a manifesto of authenticity and creativity, showing that the brand is truly an extension of its creator – Sasha Meneghel. The pieces presented reflected a modern aesthetic, with touches of elegance and comfort, designed for the public that seeks expression and originality in fashion.

At the end, the Municipal Theater was the stage for a celebration that moved not only those present, but also the spectators who followed the event on social media. Sasha Meneghel, when presenting her brand, reaffirmed her passion for fashion and her commitment to creating her own universe, marked by authenticity and innovation, bringing a new story to Brazilian fashion, “being part of the world” in a relevant and meaningful way.

It was an unforgettable winter morning, where fashion, culture and emotion came together in a unique spectacle, consolidating Mondepars as a rising brand and reinforcing Sasha Meneghel’s talent in the national fashion scene.

John Ford model  is highlighted at New York's summer

John Ford, the model from Goiás, is part of a team of Brazilian models who have been gaining prominence on the international scene.

Always aware of new trends, the young model decided to dedicate himself to campaigns about the New York lifestyle, where people live from different points of view.

New York City, where Ford has lived for approximately 7 years, is considered by many to be the fashion capital of the world, ahead of Paris, Milan and London, so the young model has become an adept at fashion trends in the “Gray Style”.

Fashion shows attract more than half a million visitors annually to New York City, which attracted the young model to this scene, where he participates in events during the city's Fashion Weeks, which take place between February and September.

New York Fashion Week, which takes place in September 2025, according to the official New York Fashion Week calendar, takes place in another week called “New New York Fashion Week”, which has only four brands. The American fashion week (the official one) is the season that represents the starting point for all the others around the world. Right after it comes the weeks in London, Milan and Paris.

New York Fashion Week is considered by critics to be the most commercial of them all, presenting more “real life” proposals, so to speak, and featuring fashion shows by veteran brands such as Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui, as well as more avant-garde names.

John Ford, who usually gives presentations with a fun touch, has an agenda that includes visits and presentations backstage by brands that don’t necessarily show their collections on the catwalk and this year he promises to rock the New York fashion scene!

Porto Grande, a charming artisanal fishing community near the trendy resort of Meaípe, is turning heads with its newest artistic landmark. Once known primarily for its humble roots and natural beauty, this small neighborhood in Guarapari is now home to a striking mural spanning over 200 square meters — the result of a vibrant collaboration between international multimedia artist Chris Barreto, renowned graffiti artist Starley Bonfim, and rising local talent Wally Almeida.

More than just street art, this is a tribute to the living memory and cultural richness of Porto Grande — a neighborhood of about 500 residents with deep Afro-Indigenous roots. The Origens Project aims to celebrate local matriarchs and patriarchs, preserve traditional knowledge, and inspire reflection on the urgent need for environmental protection.

“This exchange with the other artists has been an incredible learning experience,” says Wally, the 22-year-old self-taught artist born and raised in Porto Grande. “Hearing the stories from the elders of the neighborhood really moved me. I feel honored and proud — this mural truly represents who I am.”

Strategically located along the main street, on the path to the local school, the mural couldn’t come at a better time. Once a semi-rural enclave, Porto Grande is now at the crossroads of rapid urbanization and environmental challenges. Nestled between the beach and the Mãe-Bá Lagoon, the area boasts breathtaking natural beauty — but also faces mounting pressure from real estate development, threatening its forests and waters.

After living more than two decades in New York, Chris Barreto returned to Brazil during the Covid-19 pandemic, seeking a peaceful place to reconnect with her roots and create art. Porto Grande, where her family is from, offered the perfect setting. There, she met Wally and together they envisioned what would become the Origens Project, later bringing in Starley Bonfim, already an active figure in the local art scene.

“The connection between us was immediate — a beautiful synergy based on our shared passion for urban art and our commitment to raising social awareness by honoring our Afro-Indigenous heritage here in Espírito Santo,” shares Chris, who spearheaded the project. The mural was made possible with funding from the Paulo Gustavo Law and Funcultura, through the Espírito Santo State Secretariat of Culture and the Ministry of Culture, with support from Real Empreendimentos and Linconvix Alpinismo e Serviços Industriais.

For Starley, the experience was nothing short of inspiring. “It’s been an honor to work alongside such talented artists — an internationally acclaimed creator and a charismatic young talent,” he says. “Despite the challenges of working under the hot sun and pouring rain, the experience has been transformative. The community’s response has been incredible — seeing the children’s reactions to the artwork is especially rewarding.”

But this is just the beginning. The mural in Porto Grande marks the launch of the Origens Project, which plans to extend its creative mission to other communities around the Mãe-Bá Lagoon and beyond. The team is already dreaming of international collaborations — including in the United States, where Chris built much of her illustrious career.
