No matter how tough it gets, I can promise you this: The NDRC will keep fighting for fair redistricting in 2021.
Help us do it >>
The road will not always be easy and there are challenges in our path, including a disappointing Supreme Court decision, an attention-grabbing presidential race, and Donald Trump's fundraising machine.
But the hardest fights are often the most worthwhile. Wherever I look, there are signs that our work is making an impact. In Wisconsin -- where just 14 months ago Scott Walker ran things -- Democratic Governor Tony Evers recently signed an order to create a nonpartisan redistricting commission that will draw fair maps that should be considered by the legislature. The NDRC was proud to support Gov. Evers' campaign against Walker in 2018.
Help us elect more fair-map Democrats >>
I'm not going to pretend our work is finished. In Wisconsin, as in Michigan and New Hampshire, Republicans are fighting our attempts to make redistricting fair and nonpartisan. We chose some tough targets this year because those are the places where our work is needed most.
But I know that with you on our team, we can defeat the forces of gerrymandering and truly make our elections fair for all Americans.
Are you with us? Donate now to help the NDRC hit our $25,000 mid-month goal and keep the fight for fair maps going strong.
Paid for by the National Democratic Redistricting Committee.
