How FPIs Can Navigate Evolving Regulation and Investor Pressure in 2023 and Beyond
Tuesday, June 20, 2023 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. (Eastern Time - U.S. and Canada)
The regulatory map for ESG continues to grow in complexity with rules emerging from a variety of jurisdictions and regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission's upcoming climate disclosure rule.
Institutional ESG investment is expected to reach USD 34 trillion by 2026, representing more than 20% of all assets under management (*), accompanied by investor demands for better quality ESG reporting. Evolving expectations from regulators, investors, and other stakeholders create a complex environment for companies to navigate, particularly as many of the focus areas have not historically been subject to such extensive scrutiny. And with this greater scrutiny comes greater risk.
The Chamber has gathered a group of informed and knowledgeable panelists to discuss the most recent regulatory changes, other expected ESG reporting areas, and the challenges and controversial points that foreign private issuers are facing in order to produce investor-grade ESG information.
Please join us to learn how these rules and evolving expectations may impact your company, as well as steps you can take to address them, and to pose your questions to our expert panelists.
