Good afternoon ,

Well I don't usually get 'emotional' but I have had some really nice comments on Facebook today.

You can see a screenshot below. I have hidden the names, but the posts are all there for all to see on my Facebook page.

It's always so nice to hear about members winnings & testimonials from existing members is the best advertising one could ask for isn't it.

It's also really handy for you, if you were thinking about joining up.

I can guarantee that the cynics amongst us will say that I paid them, or they are friends or relatives But I can assure you that they are genuine members & have been for a while.

I never ask anyone to post, any comments are made off their own back.

Join Us on July 26, 2017Time: 8:00 AM to 10:30 AMLocation: White & Case LLP, New York, New YorkSenator José Serra (PSDB-São Paulo) said recently that the current political crisis is deeper than that of 1964, which led to 20 years of military rule. Hopefully this is an overstatement.  Democratic rule is firmly entrenched and supported by all players, but popular distrust of politics and politicians is unprecedented.  The market is currently more concerned about the continuity of the economic team than it is about the fate of the President. Part of the reason is the quality of team; another is the importance of managing the macroeconomic challenges:   Brazil has been in recession for more than two years, with record losses in investments, jobs and income. The public debt continues to grow, due to the recession and growing public expenditures.  Reforms are critically needed, but now threatened by political instability.
With this background, we meet to discuss the macroeconomic and political situation, and short-term prospects. It is a challenge.  However, we will be fortunate to have with us an exceptional roster of panelists:

Organizing for Action

On October 10th, 2015, I married my partner, Stephen. We'd met in Washington, D.C., bonded over our shared Boston background, and traveled all across the U.S. together.

So naturally our wedding was in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Two years earlier, I'd accepted President Obama's invitation to become the Ambassador to Denmark. Stephen and I had gradually settled into our new city. We'd learned of its proud history as the world's first nation to recognize same-sex marriages.

And so we stood at Copenhagen City Hall, the spot of the very first same-sex marriages -- 26 years earlier -- and said our vows. It made it even more special that the U.S. had legalized same-sex marriage nationwide just four months earlier.

In that moment, though, what I felt had nothing to do with politics. It was personal -- the same little moments and feelings that everyone experiences on their wedding day: Love. Friendship. Family. All of the good things. All of the happy words.

To deny anyone the happiness we felt that day is inconceivable. And as I look at the progress we've made, I know how important it is to keep fighting.

Since our wedding day, we've been overwhelmed by the good happening in communities around the country. The people in the LGBTQ community who bravely share their story. The people who listen to them.

The marches.

Our marches have always been more than celebrations. They're how we defend our hard-won advances -- and how we clear a path for the issues that we still need to tackle. As this administration threatens our progress, that's never been more true.

That energy is where my pride comes from. Because if there's one thing that has been true for every single progressive issue in our country, it's that sweeping change -- the kind we look back on and say, "Well, this was inevitable" -- really isn't. It comes from us.

So I say to everyone, both LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ: Show up this month. Be loud. Be proud. And don't forget the work we still have to do. Stand with OFA now:

The Senate's repeal bill covers millions fewer people, raises costs, decimates Medicaid, defunds Planned Parenthood, and weakens protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
Organizing for Action

Last week, Senate leaders unveiled their cruel, irresponsible plan to repeal Obamacare. This week, they're trying to rush it through -- voting as early as this Thursday.

If it becomes law, this bill would be disastrous for millions of people. It would end Medicaid as we know it, taking care away from seniors in nursing homes, people with disabilities, and kids. It would defund Planned Parenthood, which provides crucial services to women and families. It would allow insurance companies to not offer coverage for maternity care, mental health care, substance use treatment, and other critical services.

The bottom line is that millions of people could lose their coverage, or face significantly higher costs to get the care they need. We have to keep speaking out.

Mitch McConnell and a few of his colleagues are adamant that a vote happen later this week. That's why, over the course of the next few days, OFA supporters will be putting on events across the country, letting elected officials know where they stand on this devastating bill.

Now's the moment to show up in person and make your voice heard. Here are the details for an event happening in your area this week:
