All On The Line
As the Arizona state director, I know from personal experience that it'll take all hands on deck to achieve fair maps in 2021.

Here in Arizona, the people help draw the maps -- not state legislatures. And while it may sound like a simple path to fair maps, our team is actually devoting a lot of resources toward educating Arizonans about redistricting -- not to mention defending the independent commission from partisan attacks.

With 2021 mere months away, we'll need to continue our educational seminars, trainings, and outreach. Can I count on you to support our work in states like mine with a $9 monthly donation to our Commissioner Education Fund? That's just $1 per congressional district in Arizona, but it will support educating activists looking to join independent redistricting commissions in several of our target states.

I've been hosting a slate of virtual information sessions this summer to explain how the redistricting process works in Arizona and how people can apply to serve on the state's independent redistricting commission.

Ordinary folks must have a seat at the table when it comes time to redraw the state maps, but those people should actually reflect their communities. With our virtual trainings, we're able to connect with people from all over the state and of all different backgrounds.

We know how important it is to protect independent commissions and ensure that the next round of Arizona maps truly includes everyone and reflects the diversity of our state. I'm so frustrated to see continued attacks on our commission, and I know other states are facing similar challenges. It's why I'm asking for your support.

Lend me a hand! Support All On The Line's work with a $9 monthly donation to our Commissioner Education Fund. Your commitment will be essential in states with independent commissions like Arizona, Colorado, and Wisconsin.

All On The Line is the grassroots advocacy campaign supported by the National Redistricting Action Fund. Support our work to end gerrymandering.

Webinar - Fitch: China 360°
16 July 2020 | 9:30 AM (EDT) | 2:30 PM (BST)
China’s economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic remains uneven, despite initial optimism around the prospects for a sharp rebound following the  stabilization in confirmed cases and gradual unwinding of lockdown measures since early March. The pattern of China’s economic recovery remains an important reference around the world, as countries begin to loosen containment measures and contemplate how subsequent recoveries might look like.

Please join us for a virtual panel discussion with senior analysts based in the region to discuss the economic prospects and challenges that China faces in 2020. Topics of discussion will include an overview of the macroeconomic backdrop and the various credit factors affecting the corporate, banking and infrastructure sector.
Key themes we'll explore include:
  • The state of China’s economic recovery, and diagnosis of the economic policy response
  • COVID-19 impact on corporate sectors and status of recovery
  • Update on Chinese corporates’ funding and liquidity conditions
  • Demystifying the debt-laden Chinese local government financing vehicles
  • Landscape for Chinese local government under authority’s new infrastructure initiatives
  • Bank profitability and capital challenges from COVID-19 risks
  • Balancing financial reform and system leverage beyond 2020
Following prepared comments we will open for Q&A. Please submit your questions via the ‘Q&A’ box within the webinar console or to Daniela.Bazzini@fitchratings.com. Questions will be addressed during the webinar.
