Dear BACCF Members and Friends,
The BACCF is passionate about improving trade and investment between Brazil and South Florida. The global pandemic has not stopped us from finding creative ways to further our collective mission. One of our most successful efforts has been the webinars where we have had great participation and many interesting speakers. In our next edition of the Leadership Series on August 26th, I will have the pleasure of participating along with Antonio Neto of Itaú Bank and Daniel Sculerati from Teleperformance. The theme for this webinar will be customer experience and innovation. I look forward to delving into such topics as customer experience as a competitive differential, positioning for customer success and the multi-channel superior experience.
As we approach September, the BACCF would like to count with the continued support of you our member. As a non-profit organization, which is financed exclusively by membership and sponsorship fees, we depend on your support. Original artwork is being provided by accomplished artist, Claudio Tozzi and the gala will feature renowned pianist João Carlos Martins playing the Brazilian National Anthem. There will also be a special live performance by Thiago Arancam singing Phantom of the Opera and the participation of Brazilian Voices. Brazilian rap Mikezin releases his first EP
One of the biggest revelations of the rhyme battles of recent years, Michael Barbosa Rodrigues, "Mikezin", 20, is the protagonist of the new release of the Aldeia Records label. Titled "O Escolhido", the MC's debut EP will consist of seven new tracks, two of them with video clips, and will mark a more authorial phase of the artist.
"I tried to convey the idea that, regardless of what you earn or have, what life gives you, you can never forget who ran with you. Being on top is very good, but being with those strengthens you is even better ", explained the rapper, who is known in battles for his charisma and talent.
The work features entries handpicked by "Mikezin" himself. In addition to longtime partners Alva, Jafari, Jaya Kawe and Veigh, the artist also bets on the renowned Duzz, Sueth and Tivityn. Of the seven tracks, five are produced by Greezy; the other two, in partnership with Ecologyk and Tibery.
The track chosen for the release is called "Groupies", with participation by Jafari and QTZ Tivityn. Produced by Greezy, the video for the single questions the superficiality of the relationships that exist in the world of fame.

About Mikezin:
Michael Barbosa Rodrigues, known in the rapper scene as "Mike MC" and "Mikezin", 20 years old, is born and raised in Itapevi, in the West Zone of São Paulo. He started rap battles while still in high school, rhyming in between classes, and in 2019 he became champion of the Interstate of Batalha da Aldeia. Solidified in freestyle, he migrated to the trap, style in which he releases his first EP, entitled "The Chosen One", in August 2020.
