 FIRST: The Washington Post and CBS News reported that Ginni Thomas, wife of Justice Clarence Thomas, urged the Trump White House to overturn the results of the 2020 election!

SO: Senator Amy Klobuchar is calling on Justice Thomas to recuse himself from any cases related to the 2020 election – calling it a “textbook case” of a conflict of interest.

BUT: Republicans are defending Justice Thomas, claiming there’s no need for recusal!

The Supreme Court does not have any formal ethics rules regarding when a Justice should recuse themselves, so we’re polling local Democrats to see where they stand on Justice Thomas’s potential conflict of interest.
