Becoming an official member of the DLCC is the most impactful way to elect state Democrats all year long. With no “off-years” in state elections and Republicans dumping six figures into critical special elections, we need as many grassroots supporters behind us as possible. Even Michelle Obama is ringing the alarm bells:
Our team has already won 16 key special elections – just this year! – because of the dedicated efforts of more than 19,000 Democrats that have already renewed their commitment to state Dems. But we can’t stop here. Every state Democrat that we elect now – in special elections across the country – sets us up for success going into November and into 2024.
State Democrats have WON over a dozen special elections in 2023, defending our majority in the Pennsylvania House, winning a competitive election in New Hampshire, and flipping a Democratic seat in the Virginia Senate.
This summer, Rep. Pearson and Rep. Jones of the Tennessee Three are running again after Republicans expelled them from the Tennessee House.
And, in the New Hampshire House, we have two special elections on deck, which could make-or-break our chance to flip the chamber this year.
If we fail to meet our $150,000 end-of-month goal, we could lose any one of these races – handing extremist Republicans more power in key states ahead of 2024. But, we still need to raise $40,000 more to hit Wednesday’s goal. We’re counting on you.
