On October 14th, councilwoman Edir Sales hosted a vibrant Rockabilly Elvis Day celebration, bringing together personalities and fans who keep the memory of the eternal King of Rock, Elvis Presley, alive.
The event, part of a bill already approved by the councilwoman, officially recognizes the cultural and artistic importance of the Rockabilly movement and Elvis Presley's influence in Brazil.
During the ceremony, several personalities were honored for their work in promoting and preserving the legacy of the world idol. The highlight of the night was @johnnelvis, a renowned Elvis Presley impersonator who celebrates the Elvis Presley myth year-round throughout the state of São Paulo, bringing emotion and talent to each performance.
