"It Takes Two to Tangle", by Alex Corrêa and Bya Braga
October 19 @ 9:30 PM
Dixon Place

We’ve all been down that road. Relationship equals getting to know every bit, smell, attitude, smile, twitch… You name it.
You want to love and be loved, right? Then, there`s no other way but entangle your being to another.
The cost of it? The reward for that?
This piece goes way beyond words to portray something that’s been going on throughout centuries and generations.
When it starts, how it’s gonna end?
Tangle with us and find out how we solve this conundrum!

Organizing for Action

It's hard to overstate how much is at stake this November.

In key U.S. House races across the country, we can vote out a Congress that voted to rip health care from their constituents, slashed taxes for billionaires at the expense of working families, and failed to make our communities safe from gun violence.

We can elect leaders who will stand up for their constituents.

Candidates around the country are fighting for:
  • Affordable, accessible health care
  • Common-sense solutions to reduce gun violence
  • An economy that works for the middle class
OFA has identified several priority districts where current Republican representatives have worked against the will and well-being of their constituents.

You can make calls right from your own home THIS WEEK to speak with constituents in one of those districts -- and make sure they help elect leaders who will actually fight for the people they represent.

We’re so close to Election Day -- and the voter registration deadline in New York is coming up.

That’s why we’ll keep this short:

Take two minutes, and check your registration status in New York.

Maybe you moved. Maybe you meant to send in that envelope, but it never made it to the mail. No matter the reason, go ahead and do a preliminary check now.

And once you’ve confirmed, be sure to forward this to your friends and family in New York, too -- make sure they’re ready to go VOTE in this critical year.

It’s so important to make our voices heard, and it starts with getting registered.

Let’s get as many eligible New Yorkers registered to vote as possible.

CHECK MY STATUS

Thanks,

This is it.

The voter registration deadline for New York is coming up very soon -- and we’re reaching out today with a special challenge for you. (Before we get started, take two minutes and confirm your voter registration status in New York.)

Once you’ve done that, we have a simple question for you:

How many New Yorkers can you help us register before this deadline?

There’s so much at stake this year for our state, Sula:

We can replace a Republican-controlled House that handed the wealthiest 1% of New Yorkers a tax break of $29,890 each, and voted for a bill that would have stripped health care from 1,227,100 New York residents.

But the only way it can happen is if we help everyone we know get themselves registered, and then get them to the polls by Election Day.

So here’s your chance: Forward this email to as many New Yorkers as you can. Make sure they’re fired up and ready to go by November 6.

GET REGISTERED
