Luedji Luna is a singer and songwriter from Bahia who has released her debut album “Um Corpo no Mundo” in 2017 to much acclaim. Her music blends MPB, samba, African rhythms, Bahian batuque and jazz with fierce lyrics that deal with social issues and Afro-Brazilian identity. Luedji Luna’s Ep Mundo project was born a year ago after being invited by the Red Bull Station in São Paulo to experiment in the studio .

Originally from Rio de Janeiro's famous bohemian neighborhood Lapa, Casuarina is one of today's most respected bands of Brazil. They've conquered the music scene in their home country and have brought their 'samba made in Brazil' to over 20 countries, performing their original compositions and classic samba repertoire by Paulinho da Viola, Dorival Caymmi, Martinho da Vila, Adoniran Barbosa, João Nogueira and more. The award winning group most recently won "Best Samba Group" in 2017 from the 28th Brazilian Music Awards.

In collaboration with Brasil Summerfest, Jazz at Lincoln Center is proud to present the New York City debut of the Amaro Freitas Trio! Freitas realized as a teenager that the piano was his true calling, and he pursued it with all of his heart before he even owned a keyboard—when he wasn’t playing a real piano at church, Freitas was at home studying the instrument every day and practicing on imaginary keys.

Tulipa Ruiz is a Latin Grammy award–winning singer-songwriter who has been called one of the great highlights of a new generation of Brazilian singers. Some of Ruiz's accolades include Apple Music's best pop-rock album and number 4 on Rolling Stone's best Latin Albums of the year. Bornin Santos (Sao Paulo / Brazil) and raised in São Lourenço (Minas Gerais / Brazil), her award-winning albums, were produced by her brother and partner Gustavo Ruiz, an acclaimed musician and producer. Among many distinctions, Tulipa’s first album, Efêmera (2010), was considered album and song of year by Rolling Stone Brazil, Tudo Tanto (2012) was selected album of the year by Canal Multishow, and Dancê (2015) won the Latin Grammy for Best Brazilian Pop Album. Her most recent album, the acoustic TU (2018), which was co-produced by Gustavo Ruiz and percussionist Stephane San Juan, was recorded in New York and features singer Adan Jodorowsky (son of the celebrated Alejandro) and percussionist Mauro Refosco (Forro in the Dark, Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Byrne) as some of the guest musicians.
