Let me introduce myself: I'm Jessica Post, the President of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.

I'm personally reaching out because of your interest in supporting Democratic candidates and causes. And let me tell you, our work at the state legislative level couldn’t be more important. Our candidates are working to defend democracy, protect our constitutional rights, and stop the rise of Trumpism in states across the nation.

The work we do now is more important than ever because the 2022 elections will be the most consequential of our lifetimes. Last year, we saw firsthand the harm Republican-controlled state legislatures can shell out – from the extreme abortion ban in Texas to voter suppression in Georgia.

With our democracy at stake, we need to hear from strong Democrats like you as we finalize our plans. To get to know you better, can you take this quick survey? Here’s the first question >>

Will you pledge to vote in every election and at every level of the ballot?

 Yes!
 No
 Not sure

Our work to elect state Democrats isn’t easy – we’re up against Republican gerrymandering, Trump loyalists and insurrectionists spreading conspiracy theories designed to damage the trust in our democracy, and right-wing dark-money groups.

But with a strong, dedicated team of grassroots supporters, winning these races becomes a whole lot easier.

That’s why your input is so crucial. Supporters like you play a decisive role in each and every race – and the first step in helping Democratic candidates win elected office is sharing more about what matters to you.

The DLCC is only as strong as our grassroots community and I know we’d be lucky to have you with us. Please, take our priorities survey right now to let us know what matters most to you >>

Thanks for being a part of this fight.

Sincerely,

Jessica Post
President, Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee

THE SHORT VERSION:

Our work is more urgent than ever.

Chip in before the end-of-quarter deadline >>
countdown clock to midnight on March 31st

Sula – Give us a minute to explain where we are in the fight for fair redistricting.

To start, most of the states have adopted their initial congressional maps – although there are important outliers like Florida, Louisiana, and Missouri.

The rest of our work is moving into a new phase. With our affiliates, the NDRC continues to defend fair maps and support voters in lawsuits against manipulated maps. We're also planning to hold Republicans accountable for the gerrymandering they've done. And, with the 2022 elections coming up, we’re planning to support candidates who will defend fair redistricting.

With all this work on our plate, it's critical that we hit our end-of-quarter goal – and the deadline hits at midnight on Thursday. Can you make a donation by clicking one of the buttons below?

Here’s an added challenge: Republicans are grasping at more and more extreme strategies to protect their gerrymanders. Many state courts have held them accountable, so now they're trying to stack those courts with their hand-picked judges. As for the Supreme Court, their decisions have been erratic at best, leading A.G. Holder to say that the Court’s “ongoing willingness to act in an inconsistent manner and to ignore precedent raises real questions about its functioning.”

It’s all to say that we have a lot of work in front of us, and we desperately need your ongoing support to help us keep winning the fight for fair maps. The end-of-quarter deadline hits Thursday. Will you pitch in now?

Thanks,
Team NDRC

A.G. Holder: If the NDRC is successful in undoing manipulated maps, we will be able to achieve a system in which everyone's vote counts.
Since 2017, the NDRC has executed a comprehensive redistricting strategy that shifts the redistricting power, creating fair districts where Democrats can compete. Our victories have been made possible by our strong community of grassroots supporters.

I’ll get right to the point today: All On The Line’s end-of-month deadline for donations is at midnight on Thursday. It could be one of your last chances to pitch in a few bucks before every state has locked in its congressional maps for the next election.

Lately, All On The Line’s state-by-state plan for fair redistricting has been paying off. Without them, we might not be seeing headlines like “The GOP’s gerrymandering scheme backfires.” And I know overwhelming support from folks like you has been key to their success.

Chip in before All On The Line’s end-of-month deadline. The AOTL team will use every dollar you give to help secure fair elections ahead of the midterms -- and for years to come.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
DONATE $15DONATE $35
DONATE $50DONATE $100
DONATE $250Another Amount

Your donations have helped All On The Line train tens of thousands of volunteers, support voters in seven states fighting for fair maps in court, and invest well over $1M in digital ads that put pressure on elected officials to end map manipulation.

That’s a lot to be proud of -- but there’s so much left to do. Even though the initial map drawing is almost finished, a few legislatures will likely need to redraw maps after the midterms. And as we’ve seen, some redistricting lawsuits can carry on for years.

I don’t send fundraising emails like this for many organizations anymore -- and I wouldn’t do it for All On The Line if I didn’t believe their work mattered.

So if you’re able, pitch in before Thursday’s deadline to give All On The Line every tool they need to succeed.

I’m proud of our work on this issue, Sula. Together we’re making a real difference for our democracy.

Barack
