The Institute is non-profit and acts as a tool for building a cultural citizen and self-sufficient society, maintainer of its assets and heritage, knowledgeable about its history, training and importance, as well as providing training for local communities to introduce them to the labor market and generate resources for their subsistence. Its focus is on artistic and cultural performance as the basis of a new education. About USE SP:

 

During the 1st State Spiritist Congress, between the 1st and 5th of June 1947, with the presence of 550 spiritist centers, representatives of spiritist entities in São Paulo and spiritist leaders from all over the country, who demanded an organization that represented and coordinated the spiritist movement in the state of São Paulo, created the USE 76 years ago. Since 1949, USE has been the federative, coordinating and representative entity of the state spiritist movement in the National Federative Council of the Brazilian Spiritist Federation.

 

Aiming to streamline actions throughout the state, the Executive Board of USE maintains several specialized departments and advisory services that plan, execute and coordinate activities in the areas of arts, social assistance and promotion, communication, childhood, youth, guidance and spiritual assistance from the spiritist center, mediumship, systematized studies, books, information technology, science and spiritist research, legal, financial-administrative and unification.https://usesp.org.br/
