Actress Regina Duarte celebrates the success of her 2nd SHOW

The 2nd exhibition by actress Regina Duarte, invited by renowned artist and gallerist Roberto Camasmie, was a true success with the public and critics. The vernissage, held on April 4th, was marked by the presence of friends, fans and admirers of the talented artist.

With a talent that goes beyond the television and theater screens, Regina Duarte presented a series of works that reflect her sensitivity and creativity. His paintings, full of vibrant colors, delicate lines and foliage captured the eyes of everyone present at Galeria Camasmie located on the corner of Rua Bela Cintra and Alameda Lorena in São Paulo-SP.

The actress, who has always had a passion for art, revealed during the exhibition that her artistic streak was awakened years ago, but she only recently had the opportunity to really explore it. Since the birth of her daughter Gabriela, Regina has been inspired to express her feelings and emotions through canvas and paint.

With a busy schedule between recordings and rehearsals, Regina Duarte found in art a way to connect with herself and the world around her. Her participation in group exhibitions in recent months has been a path of discovery and growth as an artist.

The exhibition will be open for visits from April 5th to 30th, from Monday to Friday from 10:00h to 18:00h and on Saturdays from 10:30h to 14:00h. Don't miss the opportunity to appreciate Regina Duarte's unique art and be enchanted by her multifaceted talent.

ABOUT REGINA DUARTE

Actress, producer and theater director, Brazilian Regina Duarte is known for her long and successful career on TV and Cinema. With an extremely versatile artistic and cultural profile, he is currently dedicating himself to Fine/Botanical Arts. It celebrates its current life cycle with leaves, fruits, flowers, seeds and tree bark.

With collage techniques, these materials gain a new life, a new meaning and this is how Regina rediscovers her identity with Botanical Nature. Giving visibility and greater permanence to the birth, growth, aging, becoming dust and fertilizer for new generations of trees has been the focus of his greatest interest.

There is a way to look at the Brazilian economy today with confidence. The macroeconomic scenario is largely balanced, if weak on its fiscal side. Agribusiness is booming and leaps ahead with fast productivity growth. New frontiers are opening in energy production and exports. In part as a result, external accounts are solid and with good foundations for a structural real strengthening of the currency in a global environment with lower real rates. The combination is attractive for foreign investors. Nevertheless, in recent months, foreigners have moved money out of local markets, in both fixed income and equity, and, on a net basis, local investors continue to prefer to invest abroad. It is not clear why.

Although the economy performed better than expected in Q1/24, there are signs that, as widely anticipated, 2024 will be a more difficult year than 2023. In agriculture, output could decline. Overall, growth will be slower (about 2%) and the labor market, which remains buoyant delivering with the addition of increased social transfers and an uptick in credit markets gains in disposable income, will turn. This is likely to come with increased constraints on the fiscal side, as revenues disappoint and the administration is forced to revisit its targets, admitting a larger deficit.

Concerns are numerous. This more adverse outlook could prompt the administration to intensify its reach into the state enterprises (notably Petrobras) and banks (notably BNDES) and even, directly, into recently privatized large enterprises. Despite valuable efforts to deepen reforms (most notably in the VAT reform), the administration may stray into electoral tactics as the November municipal and mid-term elections approach. These moves could damage the already tense relations with Congress, with a costly impact on governability.

Join us for the “2024 Brazil Summit” to hear a stellar group of analysts discuss these and related topics influencing the expectations and prospects for Brazil in the months ahead.
