This is disgusting:

CNBC: “Trump's military parade cost: Up to $45 MILLION”

Trump is playing dictator and wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on a birthday parade.

Meanwhile, he’s slashing vital programs like Social Security and Medicaid that actually HELP the American people, including veterans and military families!

Trump’s military parade is a wasteful disgrace, and we won’t stand for it. We need 100,000 signers on our petition to DEMAND Congress BAN Trump’s military parade. Will you sign? →

Trump
SIGN TO BAN TRUMP’S PARADE! →

Trump has done a LOT of egregious things in office, but this military parade is high on the list.

Remember, this president didn’t even serve in the military!

He dodged the draft and still had the gall to call fallen soldiers “suckers and losers.”

Now, he’s cutting billions of dollars from Medicaid, on which hundreds of thousands of military families rely for healthcare access.

And let’s not forget the 83,000 Department of Veterans Affairs employees the Trump administration is set to fire this year – many of whom are veterans themselves.

Trump’s military parade is a slap in the face to veterans, servicemembers, and their families. It shows nothing but ego, and it’s a disgusting waste of resources. If you agree, sign now to DEMAND Congress BLOCK Trump’s ridiculous parade! →

SIGN TO BAN TRUMP’S PARADE! →

Thanks for taking a stand.

AUDA redefines standards in healthcare engineering by Thayse Azeredo Martinelli

Innovation in the healthcare sector has been driven by technological advances that are transforming the way hospitals and clinics operate, ensuring greater efficiency, safety and quality in patient care. AUDA is a leading player in this scenario, proposing a revolution through the implementation of artificial intelligence  in hospital management and maintenance of clinical equipment.

AI technology enables real-time data analysis, identifying patterns that help anticipate problems before they occur. This predictive capability enables hospitals to perform preventive maintenance, avoiding unexpected failures in essential equipment, which significantly reduces downtime and ensures the continuity of healthcare services. Thus, equipment that operates continuously and efficiently contributes directly to the quality of care and patient safety.

In addition to improving operational performance, AI also optimizes costs by prioritizing preventive maintenance, which is more cost-effective than corrective maintenance. This approach prevents disruptions caused by equipment failures, ensuring that patients do not suffer from interruptions or problems resulting from technical failures, which also minimizes the impact on the medical board and clinical management.

According to Thayse Azeredo Martinelli, AUDA's founder, who has degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Systems and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Engineering from Unicamp, in addition to pursuing an MBA in Health Services Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, managing medical equipment and hospital infrastructure is essential to ensure that all devices are installed correctly and in compliance with current standards. This attention to clinical and hospital engineering increases excellence in the sector, promoting the proper installation and efficient maintenance of equipment.

AUDA's CEO reinforces that this approach brings greater safety, efficiency and innovation to the Brazilian healthcare market, attracting new companies and promoting a significant transformation in equipment management, redefining engineering standards, bringing innovation and digital transformation to the most complex challenges in the area of Clinical Engineering, Facilities Management and hospital infrastructure.

Thayse Azeredo Martinelli states that each project the company executes is proof of its commitment to excellence, whether in the design of innovative structures, the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, or the relentless pursuit of practices that respect the environment.

In just three years of existence, AUDA Clinical and Hospital Engineering has established itself as one of the most innovative and relevant companies in the hospital infrastructure and clinical engineering sector in Brazil and Latin America. Founded in 2022 by engineer Thayse Azeredo, the company was born with a bold proposal: to radically transform the standards of clinical engineering, combining cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) with hospital management processes.

With a robust portfolio and strategic operations in more than 60 hospitals in Brazil and Mexico, AUDA already manages more than 8,000 beds, provides support for more than 16,000 medical devices and is responsible for the implementation of dozens of surgical rooms and intensive care units, optimizing complete management of the equipment life cycle, from acquisition to delivery and validation.

Marco Rubio puts Cuba back on the list of countries that ‘do not cooperate against terrorism’

The US State Department has once again included Cuba on its list — drawn up unilaterally — of countries that, according to Washington, “do not fully cooperate with counterterrorism efforts.” The measure by the current Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, reverses a decision by the Joe Biden administration, which had removed the island from the list last year.

At that time, after consultations with specialized agencies of the US government itself, it was concluded that there was no evidence to support the claim that Cuba did not collaborate in the fight against terrorism.
