The Zico Soccer Camp is designed to improve the athlete skills and knowledge of the soccer game. Each camper will have the opportunity to experience the same coaching style that revealed so many soccer players from Brazil. Zico Academy’s philosophy is based on the following six principles: planning, behavior, physiology, physical conditioning, technical skills and tactical concepts. These principles are implemented through Zico Academy educational methodology. Zico Academy Methodology has proven to be very effective in empowering players around the world. Players develop a faster speed of thought and a more unpredictable style of play on the field. We develop athletes and human beings, preparing great leaders inside and outside of the field. Our programs are for boys and girls age 4-18 years old.
Former professional players and active coaches are part of our coaching staff. They have exceptional coaching skills and commitment of the campers’ development. They encourage each participant to reach their own level of accomplishment through a positive, exciting and supportive environment. Zico Soccer Camp is an exciting experience for young aspiring athletes and is open for all abilities, boys and girls. The participants will understand the “Zico way of playing” and will recognize the importance of hard work, healthy living, and team concepts. Our programs are focus on training the complete athlete, physically, mentally and spiritually.

Arthur Antunes Coimbra, born 3 March 1953 in Rio de Janeiro, better known as Zico (ziku]), is a Brazilian coach and former footballer. Often called the “White Pelé,” he is commonly considered one of the most skilled dribblers and finishers ever and possibly the world’s best player of the early 80′s. He was also known as one of history’s greatest free kick specialists, able to bend the ball with pace and accuracy as well as having an extremely powerful shot. The gifted midfielder was named by Pelé as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004. Also according to Pelé, generally considered the best footballer ever, “throughout the years, the one player that came closest to me was Zico.”

Over the past several months, we heard a lot about "mass deportation" and the implementation of a "deportation force" -- but I hoped I'd never live to see the day. Unfortunately, it's about to become reality. This week, the Department of Homeland Security issued guidance regarding their immigration enforcement plans, "set[ting] the stage for mass deportations," as CNN characterized it. Rather than a common-sense focus on those who have committed serious violent crimes, the new administration is taking steps to vastly increase the population of immigrants who will be targeted, detained, and deported. The new guidance not only prioritizes the deportation of all undocumented immigrants who have been convicted of any crime -- it makes clear that even being charged with a criminal offense, regardless of the opinion of a judge or jury, is now grounds for deportation. That's not how our justice and immigration systems should work. They're expanding expedited removals and bypassing due process. They're cracking down on vulnerable asylum seekers. They're stripping protections for unaccompanied minors. They're calling for a massive increase in mandatory detentions. And how will they do all this? DHS plans to hire 10,000 more ICE agents and 5,000 additional Customs and Border Protections agents; deputize significantly more local law enforcement officers to immigration enforcement; and drastically expand detention capabilities. It's hard to call that anything other than a "deportation force." Our national security won't be strengthened by targeting law-abiding undocumented immigrants, and it's difficult to understand why we'd push due process and the proper function of our justice system aside and spend billions in taxpayer dollars on this draconian crackdown. Millions of people across the country are now forced to live in fear that they or their loved ones could be deported at any time. This is not what America is all about. Say you'll take a stand.
