National Democratic Redistricting Committee

This upcoming election is an existential one. The current administration is dangerous and divisive, and must be replaced with new leadership. But we can't stop at winning the White House.

The fact is that this election will impact the next decade by determining who will draw the maps for state legislative and U.S. House districts next year. And if we fall short, the consequences will ripple across our democracy. Unresponsive legislators elected from unrepresentative districts will tighten their grip on power with continued voter suppression. They will stand with the special interests -- and not the people.

That's why there is so much urgency to our work right now, Sula. The NDRC is committed to protecting our elections and winning key races in our target states. But we need your help. If you're with us, can you make a donation today?

We've made significant progress since the NDRC launched in 2017, but this year is our last chance to defeat map manipulators ahead of redistricting in 2021. And it's coming at a time when there is a renewed push from politicians who are putting their voter suppression efforts into overdrive.

We saw it in Wisconsin, where conservatives refused to recognize the danger presented by the public health crisis and attempted to halt all efforts to allow expanded mail-in voting. And we saw it just recently in Georgia, where closed polling locations and enormous lines prevented voters from exercising their right to cast a ballot in a healthy environment.

We have our work cut out for us, and we're counting on your support to get it done. Will you make a donation to help the NDRC simultaneously fight voter suppression and win in all of our target states this November? The future of our democracy rests with you.
