The Investment Partnership Program (PPI) has launched a new stage of infrastructure projects with the participation of the private sector in Brazil. The program grants long-term concessions for private companies to operate airports, ports, highways, railways, oil and gas exploration and production, and power generation and distribution – and also includes the privatization of public companies and the sale of public assets.

Alongside the PPI, states have established projects to attract investment into local economies and grant concessions for the operation of basic sanitation facilities, as well as parks and protected natural resources. They have also increased the use of public-private partnerships for the operation of hospitals, prisons, and data centers.

The Brazilian National Development Bank (BNDES) has taken on a new and important role in infrastructure projects and today, acts as an advisor to federal, state, and local governments in structuring these initiatives.

Join us for panel discussion on Brazilian infrastructure and investment, to address:
  • Brazil’s planned projects for 2021-22
  • The most relevant Brazilian projects for US companies and investors
  • How much Brazil intends to invest in 2021 / 2022

  • How the Biden-Harris administration will impact participation by US companies and attract foreign investors
