A few weeks ago, my conservative colleagues blocked the For the People Act. Since the last election, state legislators across the country have introduced hundreds of bills that would restrict voting rights. And now, we are seeing many of the same legislators strategize about gerrymandering.

These attempts to undermine our democracy and erode the fundamental right to vote are relentless.

Sula -- After the Census Bureau drops redistricting data in a few weeks, the map drawing process will be underway in every state -- and we want to ensure that you’ll have all the resources you’ll need to demand transparency, accountability, and fairness.

Here are three ways you can help ensure we get fair maps this year:

1. Become a Data Drop Donor
The Census Bureau is about to release redistricting data -- shifting redistricting into high gear. Immediately after, we’ll need to focus on ensuring the map drawing process is fair across the country by engaging and mobilizing our supporters -- and we’re counting on Data Drop Donors to help us make that possible. 2. Attend a Redistricting U Summer Session
The All On The Line team launched a series of summer training sessions on grassroots advocacy tactics, the mapping process, and how to tell the story of the impacts of redistricting in your community. This program is meant to prepare folks with the best ways to demand accountability in their state. Thousands of our supporters have already signed up -- will you be one of them?

3. Contact your senators
Our team is doubling down on our grassroots campaign to pass the For the People Act. Why? Because this legislation will ensure we outlaw congressional partisan gerrymandering nationwide -- we can’t give up.
