It’s a chance to not miss out on life’s most precious moments, like first words, birthdays and anniversaries. As the USO's Chief Operating Officer, it's my job to make sure our troops and their families get the support they need and deserve as they make incredible sacrifices — and USO Operation Phone Home® is one of the programs that deployed service members most frequently request.
As troops deployed in Eastern Europe are unable to use personal devices, they're relying on the USO more than ever to connect to a secure network and stay in touch with loved ones back home. In these uncertain times, this couldn't be a more impactful opportunity: Until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, all donations will be MATCHED by a group of generous USO donors to help fund at least 5,000 connections to home and other programs for our service members as they risk their lives thousands of miles from their loved ones.
