 All On The Line

I'm going to be honest with you, Sula. One reason we face so much political polarization in this country is that we let map manipulators go widely unchecked in 2011. That's why we launched All On The Line earlier this year -- to help empower people to make a difference in the next redistricting process.

"We have a chance to draw maps in 2021 that actually reflect the political makeup of our communities. But we, as citizens, need to be engaged, much more than we were during the 2011 redistricting process."
-- AG Holder

Our team is committed to empowering grassroots activists during the redistricting process -- through tools to drive phone calls to state legislators, on-the-ground trainings in our target states, and local strategy meetings to bring folks together to build power in our communities.

This work is essential to the fight for fair maps. But this level of community organizing and grassroots advocacy takes a lot of resources. Will you donate to our mid-month effort to raise $10,000?

Tara

Sula,

We were crunching the numbers and noticed something interesting: Our average online donation is only $26.13.

Not $260 but $26. Because the truth is, our movement for fair redistricting and a strong, functioning democracy is powered by people all over the country who are giving what they can.

Pitch in $26.13 – our average online contribution – today >>
We're looking for 50 people from NY

Contrast our movement of people fighting for fairness and democracy with the GOP. They think they can reelect gerrymandering politicians, like Gov. Ron DeSantis in Florida, and buy state Supreme Court justices who will vote their way on redistricting:

“A prominent Republican outside group is planning a new wave of spending targeting state Supreme Court elections after a wave of decisions on redistricting maps that have broken in favor of Democrats this year.”

– The Hill
FIGHT BACK WITH $26.13

But we know that our combined efforts can defeat them. How? Because that's what this community has been doing since the NDRC launched with the support of President Obama in 2017. The tide is turning on redistricting – but if we don't keep fighting, it can turn right back around in the GOP's favor.

So Sula, will you join thousands of other supporters and chip in $26.13 (or whatever you can) before Thursday's end-of-quarter deadline?

A.G. Holder: If the NDRC is successful in undoing manipulated maps, we will be able to achieve a system in which everyone's vote counts.
Since 2017, the NDRC has executed a comprehensive redistricting strategy that shifts the redistricting power, creating fair districts where Democrats can compete. Our victories have been made possible by our strong community of grassroots supporters.

Exciting news, Sula. We hit our original mid-month goal! And we think we could reach $15k by midnight -- but it will take a record amount of donations in the next six hours to make it happen. Chip in now.

Is this goal ambitious? Yes.

Is it Impossible? No.

We've seen a lot of momentum in the past few days. Help us take this growing support to the next level.

We need to raise $4,895 by midnight if we want to reach our increased goal of $15,000 >> Your donation could help us raise a record amount of grassroots donations in a 6-hour window.

Hi Sula,

The turnover of CMOs is the highest it has been in more than a decade. CMOs are being asked to do more with less, and the increasing breadth of responsibilities is making the role unwieldy.

Join me (register here!) as I discuss the importance of leadership style and how to align CMO strengths with business gaps. I’ll also answer these critical questions for current CMOs, marketers aspiring to be CMOs, and the C-suites looking to hire them:
  • Why are CMOs struggling in their roles today?
  • What factors are shaping the role of CMOs?
  • How can CMOs align with the business to drive success?
Please reserve your seat today for Wednesday, April 13 at 11am ET / 8am PT. I don’t want you to miss out!

This Meet the Analyst Webinar is made possible by Emarsys.

See you soon,

President Biden’s chief of staff warned us not to underestimate Trump running for re-election again in an interview with Axios – and he couldn’t have said this at a more critical moment.

We’re already gearing up for the 2022 midterms, and Trump is sure to be watching to see if his agenda can still garner votes.

We all know he’s itching to get back in the White House, and this moment ahead of the midterm elections could help kickstart his return to politics if we don’t do something to stop him.

Chip in today to stop Trump from rising to power again by defeating his allies across the states >>

Trump knows that if he ever wants to sit in the Oval Office again, he needs to have an unshakeable coalition of far-right allies who will be there to double down on every lie and conspiracy he tells. That’s why he’s counting on state Republicans to win in upcoming races – without them, he’s powerless.

Until we grow our Democratic majorities in battleground states, Trump remains the largest looming threat to our democracy.

We need you in this fight. Donate now to help beat Trump allies in competitive state elections >>

Thanks,
DLCC Team
