FIRST: We learned that more than 1,000 GOP state legislators and candidates have excused, sanctioned, or even participated in the insurrection since the 2020 election – posing an urgent threat to our democracy…

THEN: We identified over 650 of these candidates who are on the ballot right now – including 18 who were in DC on January 6th, 2021.

SO NOW: We’re reaching out to you because early voting has already started in several states and we’re running out of time to stop Trump’s cronies and insurrectionists from winning BIG this fall.

We need to generate a wave of grassroots Democratic support to take on MAGA Republicans. Can we count on you? Chip in $7 to our Stop the Insurrectionist Fund and have your donation matched 5X through Friday at midnight >>

If we don’t defeat Republican election deniers now, there will be devastating consequences for our democracy. The state legislators elected on November 8th will decide how the 2024 election is conducted! And with Trump teasing his 2024 run at every turn, we need you to step up right now.

Donate $7 (worth $35) today to our Stop the Insurrectionist Fund before our fundraising deadline! It’ll have 5X the impact in ensuring insurrectionists and their enablers are DEFEATED this November >>

IN-PERSON EVENT
With the first round of Brazil's presidential and general elections upon us, the country has performed better than many expected. Growth forecasts are over a point higher in the year, while the currency and fiscal revenues had a solid first half. The privatization of Eletrobras and other micro reforms are welcomed initiatives, but higher cyclical revenues have triggered pent-up (largely structural) spending.
This is worrisome when global recession fears mount. Our "2022 Brazil: Economic and Political Outlook" will assess Brazil’s short-term and long-term political and economic prospects. Speakers will assess the current condition of the Brazilian economy, the reform process, and the challenges facing the new administration that takes office in January 2023.
Please join us for this insightful discussion with government officials, private sector economists, and political scientists.
