Founded
in 2005 by Edson Cardoso from Rio de Janeiro, Ava Gallery is one of the most
renowned contemporary art galleries in Helsinki. Located in the cultural
corridor of the city, close to the Helsinki Art Museum, Taidehalli and Kiasma
Museum of Contemporary Art. The gallery is used to organizing local exhibitions
and in collaboration with cultural spaces in other cities around the world,
such as Osaka, Tokyo, Berlin, London, Porto and Rio de Janeiro. Ava Galleria
also participates, every year, in the International Contemporary Art Fair, in
the Carousel du Louvre in Paris.
This year, Ava Gallery signed a partnership with
Art_a3 Gallery and World Art Show with the aim of presenting one of the largest
contemporary art fairs that takes place in Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre,
bringing together more than 5000 thousand fine arts from various countries of
the world and the The most renowned galleries will be present in this cultural
investment with professionals based in Europe and Finland.
