“I have won some awards over the years as an entrepreneur,
highlight of the year, actor, chef, but what comforts me most is knowing that
always in these awards I see people who had the same purposes, the same courage
and determination that I had when I decide to leave the country so soon and
decide that I would do well, I see that I didn't think wrong and I believe that
they all think so too, my award today as equal to others does not refer to my 6
master's degrees nor because I speak 6 languages, it comes because more than 20
years ago I decided that I would make the most of my projects happen, with the
greatest strength I could, I am very grateful to the curators of the award who
probed me, found me, contacted me and presented me with this beautiful night,
just I have to thank you, I can tell you that I have new projects and as soon
as they are completed I hope to be nominated once again and who knows, maybe
next year, jokes the businessman.”
There were many nominees and winners on the night that
marked the passage of so many names in this city that opens and stops to follow
this award, making the businessman feel very grateful to see people again and
connect with so many others, highlighting that Miss Isadora Antunes, Camila
Lyrafitf, Mirely Nascimento, Lua Rosemberg, Gisa are incredible women who were
not afraid and made their names outside of Brazil.

We’ll keep this short, but we need you to read every sentence. A lot is happening in Wisconsin; here’s what you need to know: 🧀 Wisconsin has some of the most gerrymandered legislative maps in the country. 🧀 A lawsuit was filed to redraw these maps, which could strike down Republicans’ decade-long reign in the state. 🧀 If the newly-secured progressive majority on the court overturns these rigged maps, all 132 legislative seats could be on the ballot next year. This lawsuit is a huge opportunity for state Democrats in Wisconsin, so we need to be prepared. Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to cling to power so they can continue to block Gov. Tony Evers’ agenda, prepare for the 2024 presidential election, and stifle progress on reproductive health care, voting rights, and much more.
Thank you, Team DLCC Hi Sula, I've seen firsthand the power of unity and people coming together and transcending political divisions. In the fight for fair maps, this is not about partisanship; it's about justice, equity, and the very essence of our democracy. The significance of our mission is underlined by AG Holder's words: Our nationwide grassroots campaign is focused on a critical mission -- ensuring fair maps that respect the rights of every citizen to elect representatives of their choice, regardless of party lines.
The fight in states like Florida, Louisiana, and Ohio is emblematic of a larger struggle for justice and equality. We cannot allow history to repeat itself, and we must continue to challenge those who seek to preserve an illegal and discriminatory status quo. Will you join All On The Line in our fight for justice and fair representation? -- Sofia Pedroso
All On The Line is the grassroots advocacy campaign supported by the National Redistricting Action Fund. Support our work to end gerrymandering.
