Olivier Anquier celebrates new location of L’Entrecôte D’Olivier Rooftop Bar and Restaurant
Olivier Anquier, the renowned chef and entrepreneur, has opened a new location of L’Entrecôte D’Olivier Rooftop Bar and Restaurant, a highly anticipated event that took place on November 14, 2024. Located on the 11th floor of the iconic Esther Building, the first modernist building in Brazil, built in 1937, this new space promises not only a unique gastronomic experience, but also an incredible view of Praça da República.
Known for its famous cut of beef served with fries, L’Entrecôte D’Olivier combines French culinary tradition with the vibrant atmosphere of São Paulo. Guests can enjoy stunning views during lunch, happy hour with the sunset and unforgettable dinners, all in an environment that exudes charm and sophistication.
Olivier Anquier is a charismatic and smiling presence on the streets of the Historic Center of São Paulo, where he has become an iconic international figure. In addition to his new rooftop, he is already known for his business “Mundo Pão Do Olivier”, located in the Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista. After closing the bakery he had on the ground floor of the Esther Building, the chef decided to reinvent himself, bringing his famous versions of bread, which range from traditional French bread to brioches and croissants, to the heart of one of the busiest avenues in the city.
The chef and businessman is a historic public figure in downtown São Paulo. After 45 years of living and building a life in Brazil, he has lived with his wife Adriana and daughter Olívia for almost 20 years in downtown São Paulo. He has always been involved behind the scenes of municipal politics with a critical and observant eye on the city's politics. This year, he received the title of Citizen of São Paulo from one of the city's most active councilmen, Colonel Salles – General Commander of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo. Charismatic and affectionate, he received a visit from the city's reelected mayor – Ricardo Nunes at the recently opened L’Entrecôte D’Olivier Rooftop Bar and Restaurant.
Olivier's journey in Brazil is a perfect example of how migration can result in extraordinary success, uniting cultures and flavors in a harmonious way. Married to actress and model Adriana Alves, he continues to enrich the São Paulo gastronomic scene, always bringing new experiences to his customers and celebrating the diversity that characterizes this vibrant metropolis. The opening of L’Entrecôte D’Olivier Rooftop will certainly be a milestone, further consolidating Olivier Anquier's legacy in São Paulo's gastronomy.

USO Supporter,
With Thanksgiving just a week away, we wanted to ask you: Can you imagine celebrating this holiday without your family, friends or a Thanksgiving meal?
Many folks back home don't realize this, but the holiday season is often the toughest time of year for service members and their families.
Without the USO and your support, thousands of service members will spend Thanksgiving alone, without anything special to mark the day. For many of them, it's their first time being so far from home; others will miss their child's first Thanksgiving. They all deserve our deepest support during this difficult time of year.
That's why, as we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, we're so grateful to the NFL for MATCHING all gifts to provide Thanksgiving meals and other support year-round to our service members at military bases and USO Centers around the world.
But right now, we're falling short of our goal, and we need YOU to help us reach it by midnight tonight. Please give $37.50, $75 or whatever you can to help provide Thanksgiving meals and other critical support to service members around the world throughout the year.
