USO Supporter, On this day 24 years ago, 2,977 people lost their lives in an attack on American soil. On this National Day of Service and Remembrance, we honor their memory and thank all those who courageously answered the call to serve — on that dark day and in the years that followed. In the years following 9/11, thousands of brave Americans enlisted in the Armed Forces. They made life-changing sacrifices: leaving behind loved ones, setting aside personal ambitions, and risking their lives to protect the freedoms we hold dear. We are grateful for friends like you who value and appreciate those who serve in the United States Armed Forces. We can never repay them, but together, we can make sure they receive the gratitude and respect they deserve. To those who served, or who have loved ones who bravely stepped forward when our nation needed them, we thank you. We honor their service and sacrifice today, tomorrow and always. Never Forget, J.D. Crouch II CEO & President, USO P.S. As you reflect on this anniversary of 9/11, please consider sending your support to the men and women who are deployed around the world right now, defending our freedoms. |
