Since 2016, The Collective PAC has been working to create an America where Black people are equally represented at every level of government. If you’d like to unsubscribe, click here. | | Trump’s MAGA allies in Congress have shut down the government, putting essential services at risk including Social Security, FEMA, food benefits for women, infants, and children (WIC) and so much more.
So we’re sending Mike Johnson and all MAGA Republicans in Congress a letter to let them know how LIVID we are.
We need as many of our top supporters as possible to sign the letter so we can send a LOUD and CLEAR message to Republicans: We won’t let you get away with this!
Read the letter below and chip in $5 to add your signature → To Mike Johnson and all MAGA Republicans in Congress:
YOU shut down the government – again!!
You are trying to blame Democrats for what you’ve done, but you hold control of BOTH the House and Senate. This is YOUR FAULT!!
While Democrats are fighting to protect healthcare for millions of Americans, you are actively working to put Americans in harm’s way and strip them of vital services. And you are spreading LIES about what Democrats are fighting for!
Your behavior is DISGUSTING!
I’m standing with Democrats to PROTECT our healthcare from your cruel and harmful cuts.
We will not forget what you’ve done and there will be consequences when we vote you ALL out of Congress.
Democrats in Congress are not backing down, and neither am I. I’m chipping in $5 and signing this letter to show all of you that you cannot and will not get away with this! Sincerely,
x. YOUR NAME HERE A concerned Democrat |
Thanks for signing,
The Collective PAC |

The Collective PAC is strategically focused on creating a truly equitable democracy where our nation’s local, state, and federal governments have diverse and talented elected leadership, and Black people are fully represented in positions of power to create the policies necessary to progress our communities forward. Since our inception in 2016, we have helped 110 candidates win general elections at the local, state, and federal levels. We strive to support the next wave of progressive and unapologetic Black candidates who will usher in a sea of change in our political system while helping America fulfill its promise of democracy by creating a government that will truly be for the people and of the people. |

Right now, our affiliate — the National Redistricting Foundation (NRF) — is putting up one hell of a fight to block the implementation of Texas’s new racially gerrymandered congressional map. And we here at AOTL need to be poised to respond, no matter what the court says.
A quick recap:
At the direction of Donald Trump, Texas lawmakers enacted a new congressional gerrymander, and this one goes even further to diminish the voting power of communities of color.
The NRF immediately filed a supplemental complaint challenging the map. The NRF-supported plaintiffs are now asking the court to use the prior congressional map for the 2026 elections as this case continues in court.
As Marina Jenkins, executive director of the NRF, put it: “Texas’s existing map was facing legal challenges for cracking and packing minority voters to limit their ability to elect the candidates of their choice. This new map exacerbates those fundamental flaws; it is an unconstitutional racial gerrymander that intentionally discriminates against Black and Latino voters, and it must not be allowed to go into effect.”
AOTL is closely monitoring the court process so that we can be ready to respond no matter what the court does.
And whether or not the new map remains in effect, though, our movement cannot falter. The fair maps movement is fighting gerrymandered maps everywhere we can. All On The Line is focused on organizing volunteers to push back against map manipulation and working to educate voters about what’s at stake for our democracy in the months ahead. Once the courts rule on gerrymanders like Texas, this grassroots movement will need to be ready to mobilize.
We need all hands on deck to ensure we’re doing everything we can to defend our democracy as extremists try to silence voters with mid-decade redraws. Will you make a donation to fund our rapid-response efforts in Texas and nationwide?
Thanks so much,
The All On The Line Team

Sula,
You may have seen something special in the New York Times this weekend: President Obama sat down for a candid and personal look at the vision behind the Obama Presidential Center, coming in the spring of 2026 to the South Side of Chicago.
What we’re building isn’t a traditional presidential library–it’s a welcoming, community-oriented campus where visitors will find inspiration to shape their own futures.
Take a look at our progress and learn more about the Center.
President Obama once dreamed of becoming an architect, so throughout the process of designing the Center, he worked closely with architects Tod Williams and Billy Tsien.
What resulted is more than a building: it’s a campus with acres of open green space, a Sky Room with sweeping views of Chicago, and community-oriented spaces like an athletic center and a branch of the Chicago Public Library. Even the tallest building is built with collective action in mind; it symbolizes four hands coming together.
As President Obama put it, “I am a big believer in public spaces and public gatherings. I love the idea of creating spaces that make people feel more alive, more connected.”

| | | There are over 30 special elections happening before the end of the year. With Trump and his state-side allies cutting Medicaid, attacking public education, and raising everyday costs for you and your family, Democrats need to win as many races as possible to protect our rights and combat the right-wing oligarchy taking shape in our country. Over a dozen states are holding elections that require our immediate attention. The MAGA movement is pouring millions of dollars into our Republican counterparts' campaigns, and the only way Democrats can keep up with them is if we have the resources to compete. $7 from you is all we’re asking for to help fund state Democrats in our fight to secure VICTORY in upcoming elections in states like Georgia and Minnesota around the country. Can we count on you to chip in $7 to help state Dems defeat extreme Republicans in the states? If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately. |
