First Lady Melania Trump visited the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell and sat down for several interviews including with “The Five” from Fox News, and Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo.  TAX REFUNDS | President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts Act is set to deliver the biggest tax refund season ever, with average refunds projected to rise by $1,000 or more this year due to its transformative policies.  TRUMP ACCOUNTS | Trump Accounts have seen over one million sign-ups since the Summit and several companies have also committed to match the $1,000 seed investment including, but not limited to, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Steak ‘n Shake. Nicki Minaj also committed to a $150-300k donation to super fans at the event!  RECOVERY INITIATIVE | With drug overdoses already down 23.3% from August 2024 to August 2025, President Trump further committed to lower overdose deaths by signing the Great American Recovery Initiative to coordinate a national response to the disease of addiction & save lives.  SURVEY ONE YEAR OF ACHIEVEMENTS In celebration of one year in office, the Trump Administration released our “365 WINS IN 365 DAYS” list. Brasília, February 2025 – Curated by artist Paulo Melo, the exhibition “Black Soul Alive” begins its tour of the federal capital in 2026, bringing an urgent and necessary dialogue about identity, ancestry, and representation through contemporary art. Featuring new works by 26 Brazilian artists, the show will travel to three important cultural spaces in the Federal District, establishing itself as a landmark in the appreciation of Black artistic production in the region.

The exhibition opens on February 5, 2026, at the LBV Gallery, where it will remain until February 28. In March, it moves to the Arte em Pauta Gallery, in the Jardim Botânico Shopping Mall, concluding its journey in April at the Espelho D’Água Gallery of the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District and at the ACDF Gallery.

More than a traveling exhibition, “Alma Negra Viva” (Living Black Soul) is a strategic cultural project conceived to decolonize perspectives and celebrate the aesthetic diversity of the African diaspora. Curated by Paulo Melo, the exhibition features works that engage with themes such as Afrofuturism, resilience, memory, and Black urbanity, presenting narratives that transcend the commonplace, affirming power, beauty, and the future.

“This exhibition is an act of visibility and resistance. Each work is a manifesto that honors the Blackness present in all of us and reaffirms art as a tool for social transformation,” emphasizes Paulo Melo.

The exhibition brings together established and emerging names from the national art scene, including Beth Ribeiro with her abstract and contemporary art. Beth Ribeiro is driving the cultural scene of Brasília, strengthening and expanding public access to art. Beth also facilitates exchanges with other artists in the Federal District, such as the participation of artist Dilson Cavalcanti with his Brazilian Mona Lisas, which is being shown for the first time in Brasília.

In addition to Beth Ribeiro, other artists contributed to the LBV exhibition, including: Danlan Rosa, Tarciso Viriato, Lourenço de Bem, Toninho de Souza, Ray Di Castro, Dilson Cavalcanti, Walkíria Borges, Rose Ornelas, Nilda Leite, Cris Lopez, Beth Ribeiro, Adalardo Santiago, Nancy Safatle, Vilma Machado, Maura Alves, Janice Affonso, Hemerson Joca, Ronaldo Ferreira, Dagoberto Ferreira, Alda Carvalho, Soraia Silva, Aniella Castro, Leo Sztutman, Milton Pontes, Paulo Melo, and Paola Lazzareschi.

The strategic itinerancy through institutional and cultural spaces in Brasília strengthens the network of local artists and expands public access to quality art. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge, following the operating hours of each venue.
