At a time when society seeks leaders capable of combining sensitivity, experience, and vision for the future, the name of Dr. Fábio Zennaro stands out in Amapá for his dedication to social causes, economic development, and, above all, the protection of animals.
Born in Santo André (São Paulo), father of two children, businessman, educator, and specialist in international relations, Fábio Zennaro has built a career marked by entrepreneurship, knowledge, and commitment to people. Today, he has chosen Macapá and Amapá as his home and his mission.
His work in animal welfare began in 1992, when he joined UIPA – the International Union for the Protection of Animals. Since then, he has turned animal protection into a life purpose. As President of the Animal Defense Institute, he fights for the creation of more free veterinary hospitals, the implementation of a veterinary ambulance service, the establishment of Police Stations for Crimes Against Animals, the increase of penalties for animal abuse cases, and the inclusion of veterinarians in the “Better at Home” Program, recognizing that animals are an integral part of Brazilian families.
Recognition for his dedication to the state came on April 14, 2026, when he received the title of Amapá Citizen from the Legislative Assembly of Amapá, an honor that symbolizes his identification with the people and the causes of the state.
In addition to animal protection, Fábio Zennaro also works to open new economic and international opportunities for the region. As President of the Brazil–Equatorial Guinea International Relations Chamber for the Legal Amazon, he leads initiatives for cooperation, investment, and exchange between countries. He is expected to soon take on a new mission as Consul of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in the Amazon Region, based in Macapá, further strengthening Amapá’s international presence.
His vision is clear: a state that cares for its animals, values its people, attracts investment, generates jobs, and takes a prominent position on the national and international stage.
Dr. Fábio Zennaro represents the union of development, social responsibility, and respect for life. His work shows that protecting animals also means caring for families, public health, education, and the future of Amapá.

I grew up in a working-class family.
The neighborhoods I come from are tough. My dad stocked produce at Safeway, and my mom worked odd jobs to help keep us afloat. Sometimes, dinner was just a stale candy bar.
I became a dad in college — then, a single dad shortly after. My son and I relied on Medicaid and food stamps, and I continued pursuing my education. I never gave up.
I earned five degrees, became a public school math teacher, and got elected to the Nevada state Senate, where I was both Minority Leader and Majority Leader during my tenure. Today, I’m humbled to serve as Nevada’s Attorney General.
Gov. Lombardo has failed us.
While I’ve worked to make life better and more affordable for every Nevadan in every neighborhood, Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo has done the exact opposite.
He has vetoed housing reform in the middle of a housing crisis, blocked a cap on prescription drug prices at a time when costs are through the roof, and rejected free school meals for our kids. And Lombardo continues to stand by Donald Trump and his harmful MAGA agenda.
Nevadans are fed up and ready for change.
The Cook Political Report ranks this race a Toss Up and says that Lombardo is the most vulnerable Republican Governor of the midterm elections. In fact, this race is Democrats’ best opportunity to flip a gubernatorial seat blue across the country.
It’s time to move forward, and I need your help.
I’m proof of what’s possible when government sees people not as numbers, but as neighbors. When a family gets a fair shot. When elected leaders make sure that folks who are struggling but striving — like I once was — have the tools they need to chase their dreams.

April Jobs Report Beats Forecasts as the U.S. economy added 115,000 jobs in April. Gains were led by health care, transportation and warehousing, and retail trade, while 12,600 factory construction jobs were added amid broader private-sector strength.
At the same time, the S&P 500 hit multiple new all-time record highs this week, surging to 7,400. Since President Trump’s election landslide, the S&P 500 is up nearly 30%, reflecting powerful investor confidence in America’s resurgence, with $11 trillion in new investments already pouring into the U.S.
Republicans also secured major redistricting victories this week in Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia, shifting as many as 9 House seats toward the GOP and further expanding their structural majorities — strengthening President Trump’s ability to advance his pro-American agenda in Congress.
