Women Who Transform – by Rosita Cavenaghi.

Launched in 2023 by curator, gallerist, and art manager Rosita Cavenaghi, the *Mulheres que Transformam* exhibition was created to highlight the female presence in the art world and give visibility to women who find in art a powerful form of expression, resistance, reinvention, and transformation.

Since its inaugural edition, the exhibition has been conceived as a space for connection, dialogue, and recognition, bringing together diverse backgrounds, generations, and artistic mediums. Painting, sculpture, photography, embroidery, textile art, and other forms of expression intertwine to reveal stories, feelings, memories, and experiences that reflect the richness and plurality of the female universe.

The exhibition’s name itself captures the project's essence: women who transform matter into art, experiences into narratives, and challenges into new possibilities. These are artists who, through their creative processes, also transform themselves and awaken new perceptions in everyone who encounters their work.

Conceived by Rosita Cavenaghi—a prominent figure in the art market—*Mulheres que Transformam* goes beyond the traditional concept of a group exhibition. The project has established itself as an initiative that fosters inclusion, appreciation, recognition, and the strengthening of female artistic production, creating connections among artists, the public, curators, collectors, and professionals from various fields.

With a career dedicated to art and to building bridges between artists and the public, Rosita Cavenaghi brings together extensive experience as an art manager, curator, and gallerist. After years of working in the art market, she founded Art_a3 Gallery, expanding her efforts to champion both established artists and emerging talent, while developing curatorial projects that bring people, stories, and diverse artistic expressions closer together.

Over the course of its editions, *Mulheres que Transformam* has broadened its scope of representation and strengthened its identity as a project committed to celebrating art created by women. In 2026, marking its fourth edition, the exhibition reaffirms its mission to celebrate talent, reveal new narratives, and recognize the power of female creativity.

More than just showcasing artworks, the exhibition invites the public to feel, reflect, and connect with diverse stories and perspectives. It is an encounter with women who transform the way we see, as well as matter, memory, and life itself, through art.

Because art transforms. Voices transform. And when women occupy spaces—creating, expressing, and sharing their stories—new possibilities are born.
